After waiting 2 months for delivery of Dutchbone Gertlush tall metal & glass cabinet, unpacked the substantial packaging (a good sign) to find that the unit had been sent with a missing pane of glass (not good). How can this happen if proper inspection/quality control systems are in place before items are sent from the warehouse? The answer is there obviously aren't any inspections! The retailer we ordered through is trying to sort this out with Dutchbone directly but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Very disappointing as the cabinet looks well made.

Via Bol.com een vaas gekocht die op het plaatje verkocht wordt met een rode kleur. Je moet goed zoeken om de rode kleur te ontdekken, in mijn ogen is de vaas eerder donkerbruin dan rood. De vorm is wel mooi, maar jammer van de kleur.

Wat een top bedrijf is dit!
Netjes geholpen door de klantenservice van Dutchbone door een fout van een andere bedrijf!
Ik bestel de volgende x hier zeker weer!

Allemaal spullen rechtstreeks uit china, die voor kruimelgeld in gekocht worden maar voor exorbitante prijzen verkocht worden.
Voer je plaatje / foto maar eens in op alibaba en je ziet alles voorbijkomen met korting op bulk bestellingen

Onze barkrukken zitten perfect. De verf gaat eraf bijde stiksels. Wel 2 nieuwe zittingen gehad voor leuk prijsje. We gaan ze nu opnieuw met leer laten bekleden.

Alle Franky stoelen van DutchBone hebben vergelijkbare slijtage plekken daar waar onze handen de stoel vastpakken om deze naar achteren te schuifen en daar waar onze handen de stoel vastpakken om deze weer aan te schuifen terwijl je erop zit. Zeer normaal gebruik dus. We zien op die plekken dat het PU-leer gaat krakkeleren en de toplaag los laat. Wij hadden verwacht langer dan enkele jaren met deze stoelen te kunnen doen.

DutchBone geeft aan dat dit helaas vaker voor komt : "PU-leer droogt na verloop van tijd uit en kan daardoor gaan brokkelen.
Je kunt dit enigszins verminderen door de stoelen in te sprayen met een ecologische leerspray, waardoor het leer soepeler blijft. Een andere optie is het gebruik van leerverf om de beschadigde plekken bij te kleuren, zodat ze minder zichtbaar zijn."

Conclusie: wij gaan andere nieuwe stoelen kopen zonder PU-leer.

Purchased furniture from this company and it was delvered damaged. Company refused to replace the piece. Damage was obvious and material. We followed thier process and they denied us. Very poor service. Avoid this seller.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience with Dutchbone and feel completely deceived both by the product quality and customer service.

I purchased six chairs at a premium price from a trusted vendor carrying the Dutchbone brand, expecting durable, stylish furniture. What I received was a total disaster. Two of the six chairs were already damaged on arrival — wood was peeling, poor craftsmanship, and clearly substandard materials. The vendor sent replacements, but that was just the beginning of a nightmare.

Within just six months of NORMAL, regular use, every single chair started deteriorating — wood peeling off the edges, deep cracks, and even the leather coming apart. When I contacted the vendor, they dismissed it as "regular wear and tear." Are you serious? Thousands of euros spent, and this is what you call normal wear and tear?

After the vendor went bankrupt, I reached out to Dutchbone directly, expecting some level of responsibility from the actual brand behind the product. What I got instead was arrogance, denial, and contradictory excuses. First, they claimed they’ve never had such complaints before — then they said the damage must be due to improper use, they had complaints but not to this extent before. Which one is it then after all? No issues before or just constant denial and excuses for every complaint you get?

Their idea of a solution? A “small discount” on another purchase from the brand. Why on earth would I spend another cent on a brand that delivered such poor quality and zero accountability? I still have the wrecked chairs, peeling and cracked beyond use, as a daily reminder of this expensive mistake.

Dutchbone clearly does not stand behind their products, and once your money is taken, you’re on your own. I have never experienced such a blatant disregard for customers and such unprofessional handling of a clear manufacturing defect.

If you value your money and expect furniture to last more than a few months, stay far away from this brand.

Coffee table looks nothing like on pictures. The quality is very poor. The wood is faded, it came dirty. The metal bar is too short, which makes the table unstable. This is very disappointing, especially since the price is high.

Dutchbone doesn't care about having scamming retailers.

After finding something i wanted on the Dutchbone website, i went to their online dealers page, and trusted that they verify the companies they link to.

This ended up being a scam website, that took my money and did not wanna refund. I contacted Dutchbone and Zuiver (their owner) and they did not help. After months talking to the police, my bank and my lawyer i finally got my money back. Dutchbone still has this store as an online dealer on their website.

After recieving my money again, i went to the Dutchbone website to try again, surely this is a one time thing. This time i bought from a new company, who went bankrupt.

This store is also still on the website.

Dutchbone is a total disappointment. The prices are above average, but the product quality is below par. The coffee table I bought faded quickly. This product is made as a coffee table, but no matter what you place on it, the surface peels off. It's as if they made this product as a decorative piece. The product quality is terribly bad. If I had the chance to add a picture, I could, so you could see it for yourself. I do not recommend this brand. Customer service does nothing about the situation.

Draaivoet afgebroken van prachtige groene velvet member stoel 😬 gekocht 2 jaar en 3 mnd. geleden. Wacht nu op reactie van de meubelwinkel waar wij de stoel hebben gekocht. Aanpassing van bericht !
Van Dutchbone een nieuw onderstel ontvangen! Wat een goede service !🍀😊

Mooie groene velvet draaifauteuil gekocht . €800,00. Dus we hoopten er een flink aantal jaren mee te kunnen doen. Echter na twee jaar totaal verkleurd en het onderstel kraakt verschrikkelijk.
Is toch erg slecht voor zo’n dure stoel.

2x een meubelstuk bij hun gekocht. Eerste was een kast en het zag er goed uit echter klopte de handleiding op het eind niet meer met het product. Stickers waren verkeerd geplakt en/of de handleiding is fout. Kwaliteit afwerking is schokbarend slecht voor de prijs die je betaald. 2x gehad voor hetzelfde meubel dat de poten verkeerd gelast zijn waardoor de kast gewoon schuin staat. Erg jammer.

Ongekend slechte kwaliteit en afwerking. Sturen meermaals kapotte kasten op waarvoor ik thuis blijf om te ontvangen. Als antwoord krijg je dat de kwaliteit waarschijnlijk niet zal verbeteren.

Leuk op de foto, maar de allerslechtste troep die ik ooit heb meegemaakt. Zeker voor het geld wat ze vragen

Via Lumz een JuJu TV meubel besteld. Bij levering bleek dat een van de grepen op het klepje verkeerd om gemonteerd was. Gebeld met Dutchbone of zij me een nieuw klepje wilden leveren en nadat ik enkele foto's gestuurd had waarop zichtbaar was dat de greep verkeerd om zat hebben ze me een nieuw klepje gestuurd. Jerrico van de klantenservice van Dutchbone heeft me goed geholpen en ondanks dat ik het meubel niet direct bij Dutchbone gekocht had hebben ze me zonder gedoe of extra kosten een nieuw klepje gestuurd.

Dutchbone, hartelijk dank voor deze goeie service!

I ordered this product on July 6. It said it would ship in 4-8 weeks. Flash forward to More than 4 MONTHS later (127 days to be exact), and after calling Dutchborne and their shipping company, several delayed and rescheduled deliveries, and ZERO communication from Dutchborne along the way, it finally arrive SHATTERED!!!! I have never had a worse shopping experience in my life. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the heartache, don't order anything from this horrible company!

2 keer de dutchbone Kate gekocht. Waren ruim €500 per stuk. Kwamen prachtig verpakt aan maar 1 van de stoelen kraakt als een gek. Direct contact gezocht met verkooppunt en een filmpje opgestuurd ter verduidelijking van mijn klacht. Inmiddels 5 weken later nog geen reactie van de leverancier.. ik hoef er geen 15 jaar mee te doen, het design is toch vrij trendgevoelig. Maar dit slaat toch alles hoor!

Avis au futurs acheteurs :
Les meubles sont jolis, mais la qualité est vraiment décevante. Nous avons acheté 6 chaises que l'on trouve aujourd'hui entre 185€ et 199€ suivant les sites internet.
Ces chaises (modèle noyer un peu rétro façon fauteuil Eames) ont 6 ans et les assises sont déchirées et rafistolées avec du scotch depuis maintenant 2 ans.
Donc Dutchbone, j'ai aimé, j'ai essayé, je n'y retournerai pas!

Bestilte et Dutchbone bord via Unoliving.com der var decideret defekt. Benene kunne ikke samles fordi gevind var skåret dårligt, et andet ben var der slet ikke gevind så det var bare løst, farverne var ikke specielt godt match ift. billedet på shoppen og det tredje ben var skævt. Kan et bord virkelig være så dårligt lavet og hvad siger det om Dutchbone og den producent de sælger det via? Var oprigtigt forbavset og chokeret.

Virkelig ikke tilfreds med kvaliteten af Dutchbone og mit køb afviger klart fra det image Dutchbone lader til at have opbygget om at have kvalitetsmøbler. Jeg er bestemt ikke interesseret i at købe Dutchbone en anden gang.

Ordered a Dutchbone table via Unoliving.com that was decidedly defective. The legs could not be assembled because the thread was cut badly, another leg was not threaded at all so it was just loose, the colors were not particularly good match compared to the picture on the shop and the third leg was skewed. Can a table really be so poorly made and what does that say about Dutchbone and the manufacturer they sell it through? Was genuinely amazed and shocked.

Really not happy with the quality of Dutchbone and my purchase clearly differs from the image Dutchbone seems to have built on having quality furniture. I'm definitely not interested in buying Dutchbone another time.
