All the Marks of Being a Scam
This company has every mark of being a scam.
After submitting an order for 3 DVDs, I was told that I needed to order a larger 'minimum' quantity amounting to 3,000INR; and so I did. The money was sent to them using a popular (and very trusted) money transfer agency.
Following this initial charge, I was told that, unfortunately, due to some type of service fee related to my first disqualifying order, the second order's amount was accordingly reduced and thus still did not meet the minimum amount of 3,000INR. I was told to send a further amount of at least 3,400INR to ensure the minimum, and that the first amount would be promptly refunded to the transfer agency. I sent the 3,400 with perfect trust.
Right - I was duped out of the equivalent of 6,400INR, which, in US dollars, may not be so devastating, but it made me feel not only hugely disappointed but also showed how professional some companies can be in their dishonest efforts to scam others. After numerous questions and concerns sent their way, and receiving no further replies, I had no alternative but to give up.
My advice: if you want to save yourself both money and frustration, keep away from dvdstore.org, regardless of how vast and incredible their inventory may seem - I have every right to believe it entirely bogus.
