These taste awful

These taste awful. They taste like spongy cardboard. I bought a variety pack and they all taste the same. Very disappointed. Their reviews must be paid for or they have a way of deleting negative reviews?? Do not waste your money. I ended up throwing them out.

Moldy bagels and moldy service

As others have stated, the flavor is very bland.

I bought 4 bags back in March 2026, 2 everything and 2 cinnnamon raisin.

Within a week, even being refrigerated, after having 2 bagels out of the bunch, the rest were moldy.

I sent an email and included pictures.

I told them how to contact me and have not gotten a call back.

Quality control way down.

So, the website is tricky, and it tricked me again into a subscription, so watch it!!! I tried to cancel RIGHT AWAY but they said I couldn't. When I thought I had cancelled, I created a new order (by mistake obviously), so I just got a delivery of 12 packs of plain bagels, and I just had to microwave the first one I opened to soften. Ummmm, not ok. The quality control has gone wayyyyy down. NOT OK. Having to microwave a "fresh" bagel??? NOT OK.

Purchased several different Royo…

Purchased several different Royo products. ALL were HORRIBLE. Wish I could get my money back. Better to buy a bag of sawdust, because it's less expensive and tastes the same. I wish the owners of Royo would read this

The main reason for this very low review is ROYO’s customer service. I have found some of their products to be pretty good, although calling those rolls “bagels” is a real stretch. Surely being located in NY they know this- or anywhere in the U.S. for that matter.
Recently, I decided to try the chocolate and cinnamon rolls and to lower my cost by subscribing to my usual products and the new rolls as well if they were good.
ROYO claims you can unsubscribe any time, so I did since my expectations were not met.
I unsubscribed by email and tried to go on my account as well. They did not send me the code to sign in and did not answer repeated emails either. Days later I got a notice from SHOP that ROYO was getting ready to send my next order. All my attempts to communicate with emails have been in vain, and of course, no phone #. I have started a dispute to prevent them from charging my card. If this continues, they’ll be dealing with my lawyer.

The Customer Service is Horrible!!

The customer service is horrible. I placed an order and when I received it, there were items missing. I contacted them multiple times and they never responded. They do not have a phone number that you can contact and they don't respond to emails. Beware of this company! I'm going to have to dispute the charge on my credit card.

If I could give no stars I would. This order has been a nightmare. 6 days after I placed my order for my daughter they are getting ready to package it but not shipped. I have asked for a refund and have gotten no response. Hell the website states fast shipping for you to receive your items between 3 and 6 days but my order isn’t even package yet and it’s been 7 today. What a horrible company to work with. I placed orders on the same day from other companies and I have already received those items and they were handmade from the same area. I am so irritated because I didn’t check the reviews and I should have checked the reviews and they had fast shipping supposedly

Threw everything away

I threw all three items away. The taste of the bagels are bland and the bagel texture is not quite right. The cinnamon rolls and chocolate cinnamon rolls have texture like rubber and both taste very artificial.

The bagels arrived a full week after…

The bagels arrived a full week after ordered the 4-pack bundle.
They are tasteless and borderline disgusting! I threw them out. I can't speak on their other products, but drowning them in sugar and cinnamon is the best recourse. A waste!

Delivery has not happened.

I have enjoyed this product and placed an order for more which was supposed to be delivered on Thanksgiving. I had a neighbor watching for it So far nothing has been delivered.

Just misses on flavor.

I’ve only eaten the Everything bagels and bread, but I’m fairly certain my opinion will apply across the board. This isn’t a slam on Royo - unless of course everyone realizes the products lack taste and are just making fake commercials about their “deliciousness.”

Texture and presentation are good. Taste is just lacking. This may be the nature of using alternate ingredients in order to boost protein and fiber, I’m not sure. I do think the Everything bagels could be disguised a bit more by making the “everything” a little more prominent. As for the bread, it’s tasteless and just disguised as bread. Even with butter or cream cheese.

Suggestion to the company is just try to find new and healthy ways to boost flavor. I hope Royo continues to be a success.

4.5 stars. Yummy!

I give Royo 4.5 stars! I wish they had a phone number, and I wish that their raisin cinnamon bagels had a little bit more raisin and cinnamon. Other than that, they are fresh and tasty, and toast up nicely, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I am a diabetic, and i am able to eat a whole bagel for the first time in ages! I had been slicing my bagels into quarters, but now I can have a whole Royo bagel and my sugar stays perfect!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you’re a bagel fan! I particularly recommend the Everything bagels and the Cinnamon Raisin. ❤️

Tasted really bad

The product is literally as dry and tasteless as sawdust. The company bakes high protein bagels and they are completely inedible and overpriced. Their shipping alone is overpriced so I expected a good quality product. The bagels were freezer burned and completely dried out. They apparently have a no refund policy for product satisfaction.

Update after an email they did refund my money, which I appreciate.
