I opened an account with ebay trying to sell some items, none of them dangerous or banned, and all of a sudden on the same day I opened the account I get permanently banned. I tried contacting costumer service but the only thing they could tell me was that, 'I pose a risk to the ebay community'. Come'on I'm a new seller maybe I violated some little thing in innocence but let me know what went wrong don't just ban for no reason. Their customer service is terrible, they are so rude, and one of them slammed the phone on me.

I'm done with eBay. Almost every order I have placed over the years have had problems. eBay isn't easy to communicate with if you have problems and they keep telling you to contact the seller who is the problem in the first place and is not rectifying your problem. The last case was misrepresenting the product and sending me something that I didn't want. I requested a return which the vendor is supposed to pay for shipping but they refused to. eBay closed the refund file on me because I didn't return the product but I couldn't because the vendor refused to pay for shipping as they were required to. I requested a replacement order to get what I originally ordered but I never got it and it seems I now I am stuck with product I didn't order but payed for and eBay didn't resolve on my behalf. Their 100% customer satisfaction seems to be BS. Use eBay at your own risk. There appears to be a lot of shady vendors that eBay allows on their platform.
Is eBay Racist?
I wanted to sell some of my old items, so Icreated an eBay account and listed my first Item for sale.
Just 1 hour after I received an email stating that my account has been permanently suspended...Yeah, I could not believe it.
I called eBay customer service to at least get to know why I was suspended, the answer was that I represent a risk for the eBay community, and They can not tell me why or what exactly promped my permanent suspension due to their policies and laws.
I did not posted anything dangerous, I was trying to sell my old videogame console, I did not made any harmful comments or reviews on other´s listings, I really do not know what went wrong.
what really confuses me is that the lady at customer service told me that any account that I open in eBay will also be suspended, making purchases or sales is not allowed to me.... yeah, I think it is ridiculous.
It was my first account with them, and literally it only lasted 1 hour or less than that. But, Suspended for life?? C´mon eBay.
The only thing that I am thinking now is that probably they are racist, probably they banned me because my name and last name are from a foreign origin.

purchased an item back in feb / 2022...contacted seller several times, and they kept begging me to be patient...item still has not arrived....finally contacted management at ebay.ca and they advised me to (ask my visa to refund my $$$$)....excuse me? they advertise money refunded if there was questionable non delivery of item paid for...here's the kicker* they are allowing this stealing/cheating seller to continue selling on ebay....*be WARNED* ebay does NOT stand by their buyers.......extremely bad experience; i have been with ebay for over 20 years - do not intend to continue purchasing on ebay.ca; there are other organizations out there who really do stand by their buyers......i predict ebay will go bankrupt!

Wow I haven't sold anything on ebay in years., so i sell my personal labtop on ebay to get some extra money and I sell it for 299 and end up with 267 after they jack their fees and shipping. Well the idiot gets the labtop and says there is something wrong with it, he can't figure out the windows and of course gets and auto return. So they put it on hold and I have no way to get a shipping label to him and I got to the post office and they have no idea what I am talking about. So I call scambay and they said they will have the buyer get one all I have to do is upload a note from the post office to which I do. Two days later they close the refund give the buyer back money WITH SHIPPING and I get nothing the idiot has my labtop and the refund. I have had to contact the Canadian Anti Fraud center, RCMP and the bank and Better Business Canada. No on cares no one does nothing. Now I am out 659 dollars due to this scam these fools run. You appeal and they tell you too bad we love your stolen money. More stolen money the better never sell or buy anything on Scambay and make sure you let everyone know what a scam site it is not a days. Don't learn my 659 dollar lesson. These people are SCUM. They will lie and tell you whatever on the phone and do nothing they are a bunch of criminals too.
eBay treats sellers in a nasty nasty way
If you are a seller on the eBay Canada platform you might get a taste of their garbage policies towards sellers.
I sold an used Samsung Galaxy phone in perfect working condition and for some reason the fraud buyer claimed that the device was "not as described".
When eBay came in to resolve the matter they sent an email saying that they have asked the buyer to confirm the condition of the item. And then after 5 days, without informing me on the results of their investigation, they refunded the buyer fully and the buyer didn't even have to return the device. I lost my total money and a fully functional Galaxy Note 9 device.
So if you are a buyer on eBay, just buy something costly like a smartphone, say the item is not as described, eBay will refund your money and you get to keep a free phone!!

Was forced to give a one star review in order to write a review. EBAY has to have the absolute worse customer service ever along with the seller I ordered an item from.
I’ve been assured 3 times I would receive a refund. We shall see. So far nothing. Both EBAY and VIP MOTOZ have given me such a run around. Everyone I called just referring me back to the other party. It’s a nightmare.
Do not order anything through EBAY or VIP MOTOZ. I will NEVER use EBAY again.

I downgraded my store today because of ebay they use and abuse their sellers punishing us for things out of our control and saying we helped you than continue to punish you when something isn’t your fault. Your agent Von was very rude, non empathetic, not listening, over talking, begged for a supervisor and he refused to transfer the call, makes you feel like you're an idiot, does not review the account/order before pushing his opinions. Responds based on what he thinks he understands, which is really nothing, as he does not listen to anything your client says, my BP went to a high 153/87 which is not at all normal as I am 37 and have no history of blood pressure. I had to pay 59.45$ in shipping return because eBay refused to pay the return fees even if it's there mistake... I've been on eBay for more than 13 years...I will not buy again... watch very close what you buy. ebay i9s leaving sellers on that misrepresent their products. they are not as advertised. i bought some coins that looked like a real lot in the picture they when you get the item its a roll of pennies and a little tiny bag like maybe 10 coins and the seller said a 100 coins that was a lie and it is a fight to get a refund or credit..i never have this problem with wish or amazon. im not buying from ebay any more its just a rip of. this sellers lie about what they are selling

It had only a small photo, I took a chance as it looked like the pattern I had been shopping for.
The ad stated the linen was soft. When I received them order, I knew before even opening the packaging it wasn't like the picture. It looks like a light blue stripe in the picture however it is dark blue stripe! It is reversible, and I was hoping it would be the light blue I saw in the picture, however the reverse side was cream with dark blue pin stripes. Nothing like I thought I was buying. Not only that, the fabric felt stiff like it's been firmly starched ! Nothing soft there!
When l tried to contact the seller asking to return this duvet and shams I explained I wasn't happy, it's difficult to see actual color in a picture at times, that's why many businesses have return policies. I also explained I understand with covid these are scary times, but I have had both my vaccines, and have not covid! I explained that I realise I was taking a chance ordering on line, but if us shoppers didn't take that chance , the vendors would have no busines and be out of business. I received a text saying item CLOSED! No correspondence, just closed. I tried several times to contact her, with the same response. eBay however states they will play negotiater if you can't get results within 3 days. I had difficulty navigating all the various routes you have to go through to explain your problem with your return , I never did contact then thru this avenue...I ended up phoneing them. They flatly explained there was Nothing they could do if the vendor isn't willing to work with the purchaser. Even after I said I would no longer shop with eBay, they responded by saying, sorry to hear that. But offered no options, oppolgies, nothing! The information on EBay pertaining to returns makes it sound like if you don't have any luck getting your refund through the seller, eBay will step in....i took that to mean they would refund me and deal with the seller.
THEY DO NOT!!! They take no responsibility, never STEPPED in as it states in returns...
Apparently SOME of the sellers will refund, not the one I had.
I am stuck with a 375.00 purchase I hate, and eBay will keep on taking advantage of inexperienced on line shoppers like me! Shame on EBAY!
