We understand your concern about the printed expiry date (26 SEP 2025) and the export label showing 30 JUN 2026. As explained during our phone conversation, many food products manufactured in India for export markets use the same pouch or packaging as the local market, with additional export labeling applied for international distribution.

Products originally packed for the local Indian market (typically with a 3–6 month shelf life) are often prepared for export using advanced preservation and controlled packaging methods.

One such method is High-Pressure Processing (HPP), an internationally recognized non-thermal food safety technology that helps eliminate harmful microorganisms while preserving taste, nutrients, and texture. This process can significantly extend shelf life depending on the product and packaging conditions.

Because the same packaging is frequently used for both local and international markets, manufacturers or suppliers may apply export labels indicating the revised best-before date for international distribution. During our review after your call, we also checked other brands such as Fortune Atta, Amul Atta, and Udhaiyam Lentils, where similar export-label practices are applied by manufacturers.

Please be assured that EU food safety regulations are extremely strict, and both we and our suppliers fully comply with these standards. We would never knowingly sell expired or unsafe products.
