ebook.bike is not functioning properly. The service is very poor, and the staff are unprofessional. I do not recommend using them.

A website designed to unapologetically infringe the rights of all book authors, run by Travis McCrea.

Travis claims that he doesn't upload the books and that the website is no more than a digital library. He also claims to have a DMCA policy. But any removed books will rapidly appear again. A library will only lend the same title out once at a given time. And his DMCA compliance is flaky at best.

While working to deprive authors of their livelihood, Travis flies airplanes, makes claims that he's an entrepreneur, is Head of Vancouver's Pirate Party and the leader of the Kopimist Church of Canada. The latter two are companies with registered addresses in the public domain.

If an author takes issue with his 'business' Travis goads and intimidates them on Twitter, Facebook and elsewhere.

If you think that sounds the behaviour of a self-important bigot, join the ranks of every author he conspires to relegate to the poor house.
