If an instalment option is available, it’ll usually show during checkout before you pay; otherwise the booking is normally charged as one payment. Thanks for checking first. For discount coupons, the website’s current offers or any promo emails are the usual places to look — if nothing’s showing there, there may not be an active code for those dates.

Being told to call AmEx, then finding they had no record of any attempt, is a frustrating way to hit a payment wall. Having to switch to your husband’s card after that isn’t a small inconvenience. When a card check doesn’t complete, it may not reach the bank’s logs at all, and a booking is only confirmed once a confirmation number and email are issued. If you’d like it looked at, do get in touch through the Help Center with the card used, the time you tried to pay, and any screenshots of the message so support can trace it properly.

A payment that won’t go through is a frustrating stop when you’re trying to book. A reservation is only confirmed once a confirmation number and email are issued, so if the payment didn’t complete, the booking may not have been finalized. Without the booking number, we can’t check the transaction properly, but our support team via the Help Center on the website can review it against the booking details and see where it failed. If you can, include the card error message or screenshot too.
