Købte 4 jeans
Købte 2 jeans til mig selv og 2 til min hustru. Jeg kunne passe mine og er glade for dem - kvaliteten føles god og de sidder godt. Min hustru kunne ikke passe sine, så vi sendte dem retur uden problemer og har modtaget pengene uden problemer.

Unsatisfactory customer service, overcoat has faulty design
I placed an order for one of their overcoats, I found a better price elsewhere with an Edwin stockist so contacted them within 5 minutes asking to cancel the order I had placed. The customer service rep said this wasn't possible:
"Unfortunately, for organizational reasons, we cannot cancel or change the content of an order that has already been placed."
I then looked at their order cancellation info on their website, which stated the opposite:
"Order cancellations are possible at EDWIN Europe if the order has not yet been processed by our shipping department."
As you can see, this was disappointing and has inconvenienced me. I'm convinced retailers do this to dissuade returns, because it would seem at some point previously Edwin did accommodate order cancellations and now for mysterious 'organisational reasons' cannot.
The good news is returns are free of charge, apparently. But it's still a hassle and is keeping my money tied up during the Christmas period where it could be better used elsewhere.
As for the overcoat, I bought their charcoal coloured item. It was an oversized garment so bearing that in mind I chose the size accordingly. I forked out about £270 thereabouts, it was a wool/poly blend, which for some is not preferable as it affects the drape and patina potential.
I found the coat to be acceptable bar the buttons easily coming undone under sidewards pressure. The coat only had four buttons which calls into question how effectively it insulates - out in cold weather I felt it was borderline ok, if you put on an extra layer underneath it would be absolutely fine.
The button situation would have been passable if the buttons stayed fastened, but they didn't. For obvious reasons this was a deal breaker. I have no interest in intermittently doing up buttons that become unfastened during the coat's normal usage.
The side pockets were nice and deep. No interior stash pockets though, unfortunately. Overall I decided to return the coat for a refund.
The returns process: Edwin customer service were helpful when contacted however I realised they shipped the garment from Europe and don't have the garments stored locally in the UK, which would have removed customs barriers. I then found that they did not include the three required copies of the return document for customs inside the parcel, this meant I had to photocopy them myself. For an order costing £270 I'd have hoped for the three copies to be ready in the parcel for a possible return.
Sometimes they get it right
I read all the negative reviews about Edwin Europe AFTER having placed my order for a pair of selvedge jeans, so naturally, I was a bit worried.
However, the order shipped and arrived in reasonable time, and so far, the jeans are as expected.
Worst customer service I’ve ever…
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, not trying to find a solution and finally not responding to email questions. Not to mention that the quality is REALLY bad in comparison to the real EDWIN JAPAN, which the European brand has nothing to do with.
Terrible Return Process and Non-Existent Customer Service
I ordered a pair of jeans from EDWIN but need to return them because they’re too big. The return process is unnecessarily difficult — you have to request a return label from them, and the item needs to be back with them within 14 days of purchase. I’ve emailed twice with no response.
I even called their head office in Germany, waited on hold for 30 minutes, only to be told they can’t help and then hung up on me. These jeans were expensive, and now I’m stuck because I’m leaving the country tomorrow and can’t return them in time due to their lack of support.
Awful experience — for such a premium brand, I expected much better service.
Edwin Europe: Awful company
Awful company. Website seems genuine BUT I placed an order using my debit card on the 24th April. I have chased my order multiple times, receiving a standardised blurb from customer service saying that they have experienced systems issues/upgrades/ new system, meaning everyone’s parcel is delayed. BS. They then write: your parcel will be dispatched in a couple of hours once released from our warehouse. This happened on 3 occasions and counting. We are now on the 9th May. I have complained through their web form and even tried to locate their 3 German Directors to contact. All I can find are their accountants being the registered address in London. I have clawed the money back from my bank thank goodness, as the purchase was made with my debit card and so very little protection. I will never buy from this shoddy dodgy organisation again.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Most expensive pair of jeans ever bought, €200,00. Within no time they ripped at the back on the edges of all pockets. Then they ripped in front under the buttoned fly. After they ripped inside the front pocket. These are not richt fitting jeans. Never have I seen such bad materials. Honestly very disappointing. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Edwin is cool
I read the negative reviews after making the purchase and honestly I was a little worried. What can I say, my experience instead was totally positive... I bought 2 t-shirts, they arrived in 2 working days, the quality of the cotton and the print are excellent (but I already knew their products) and neat packaging... and thanks for the sticker. For the size I went down from M to S because they are large and it suits me perfectly. This is a historic brand, if you like a certain style of streetwear, their clothes must be in your own closet.

Ordered 2 pairs of jeans since I wasn't sure of the size. shipping was fast, package included a return label free of charge and I got refunded within the promised period for the pair I didn't keep. Great experience, will order again.
Qualitätsprobleme und unverschämter Kundenservice
Die Jeans hatte nach der ersten Wäsche hässliche Streifen. Sie wurde auf links und bei geringer Schleuderzahl gewaschen. Der Kundenservice antwortet auf Englisch und verweigert eine Erstattung, weil die Hose nicht korrekt gewaschen worden sei. Kann man nur als unverschämt bezeichnen...

TERRIBLE SERVICE - if you dont tlike what youve purchased the returns process is impossible. They ignore you requests and nothing happens! Make sure you buy with credit card ONLY not debit card so you can dispute with your bank! JUST TERRIBLE .. AVOID

Ordered a pair of jeans of them. 150 pounds never received the jeans and lost the 150 pounds. Still getting on at them for the money terrible company. Avoid like the plague. Full of excuses payment wasn’t captured etc etc. thief’s!!!!!!

Tatsächlich machte ich sehr gute Erfahrungen: Die Lieferung erfolgte zügig, der Kundendienst antwortete auf eine Anfrage meinerseits umgehend.
Die Qualität der von mir bestellten Tasche war hoch. Da die Tasche für mich jedoch zu groß war, retournierte ich diese mit dem kostenlosen Retourenlabel. Die Rückzahlung erfolgte innerhalb eines Tages.
Never buy from Edwin Europe
Customer help is very poor, the returns process is extremely difficult, they did not provide the right paperwork so I am suck. I will never buy from them again.
If I could give them zero stars I would
I ordered a top. They sent the wrong item with the label of the item I ordered and paid for (which was more expensive than the one they sent me). I don't like the top they sent at all. Meanwhile the one I do like has sold out. I contacted them and asked them to refund. They asked for photos which I duly sent. They said that it was impossible that they had made a mistake as they check everything rigorously. They also said it looked like the top had been worn (it hadn't) and that therefore they couldn't accept it for the purposes of a refund. I will be approaching the Small Claims Court and I will never use this company again and suggest you don't either.
