Bad Review – Order #930348459

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I placed order #930348459 on 22 June, worth over $300. After my original order was delayed because some items were out of stock, the company contacted me and tried to offer similar replacement items. I agreed to the alternatives, but I still never received the two items.

I have followed up with the company several times and, despite my messages, I have not received any proper response or resolution. I requested a full refund, but I still haven’t heard back.

The order has taken far too long, communication has been extremely poor, and I feel completely ignored as a customer. At this stage, I am very disappointed and concerned about the way this matter has been handled. I paid over $300 and still have not received what I ordered or received my refund.

I strongly recommend being cautious when ordering from this company. I hope they respond and resolve this matter immediately.

Quality is terrible and it took weeks to arrive. The jacket I purchased is unwearable.

Ordered their white puffer jacket. Had no update on shipping until day 7 business day. Contacts their customer service, did not respond over 3 days until I emailed again. Jacket arrived 13 business days after going through customs which tells me I probably could have gotten the same jacket from Temu or Shein. It was not the item I expected. Fabric, and the zipper was cheap. Particularly for the price. Quality was not as expected or promised. I emailed to request a refund annd send it back and still have yet to hear back. I do not recommend buying from this business.

The product  (Maren Jacket AU$159.00) was drop shipped directly from China.  It took 2 1/2  weeks to arrive.  When it arrived the inner plastic bag was already open.  The product was soiled, has no tags and is terrible quality.  It also has a bad smell (it smells like someone has worn it already).  The outer plastic bag indicted that the product was size ’S’ - I had ordered XS.   I immediately sent an email to them, telling them I would return the product and wanted a refund.  I originally decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and 48 hours to respond before I post this - but I am worried that others will be caught up and have their money effectively stolen while I wait, so I am posting this now. 

Also note that the company claims on its website that it is based in Newcastle NSW, but there is no bricks and mortar store or phone number to contact them on.   The return shipping address is 'Shipping Dept PO Box 018 Sydney', which is essentially a drop ship PO box, which does not take returns.

Australian law requires an ACN/ABN on the consumer invoice, which 'Elara Lane’ do not provide.  

If this company is not a scam and they get in touch and resolve the issue I will remove this post.  Sadly I am not hopeful…… Please do not purchase from them. There are plenty of companies, like Uniqlo or even Lulu Lemon that offer good quality products in this price range, so please do purchase from them instead.

Still have not heard from Elara Lane and will be reporting them to Dept of Fair Trading. If anyone else has a poor experience with them and you can find a few minutes I suggest you do likewise.

Still no word from Elara Lane and I note that they have removed all content from their website, although the URL is still active. I have reported them to Fair Trading and have asked for Visa to give a refund.

Such a bad company to engage with. Quality of product was terrible. Pockets not stitched to lining and won’t reply to my emails requesting a refund. Don’t buy from them.

The quality of the product (Matilda Balzer) I received from Elara Lane is terrible! The fabric feels cheap, the blazer has no lining, and the tailoring is really bad. Whilst the communication from Elara Lane was initially good, I would not recommend buying from them based on the product I received.

Good service from Elara Lane, the process was smooth with frequent updates.

mY PARCEL ARRIVED SOONER than I expected and was packed really well. Everything was presented nicely, which made for a great first impression of Elara Lane. The whole experience felt smooth from start to finish, and I'm already looking forward to placing my next order.

Got exactly what I was after, quality stitching and fabric.

The customer support was helpful, I had a few questions and they got back to me reasonably fast. Overall, really happy with the purchase.
