Just finished up my Level 2 with Mark and Neil at Elec training and couldn’t be happier, learned a lot in a short amount of time, they were extremely supportive with everything and helped guide me when I couldn’t understand some things to get where I need to be!

Just finished Level 2 and 18th edition, passed all the exams first time thanks to great tutoring from Mark very experienced and the best practical advisor, Neil great on explaining theory and testing practices, and the rest of the team are great . Got offered a job even before completing the course thanks to Josh the best at his job. I would recommend Elec Training 100%

Specialist tutors who know their industry well, would recommend !
Extremely high quality education given to me from the team, in a positive learning atmosphere.
Prior to the course, I was only ever working around electricians on occasion, thus never involved in hands on work within this field.
However with great support from my tutors (huge shout out and massive thank you to Neil Mark, and Laethian) I passed my level 2 with concretely good guidance along the way, which was a very enjoyable experience to learn within this class collective

Thanks Elec-training for all their help. The tutors Neil, Laethian, and Mark were amazing and helped everybody in my cohort pass all of the exams. Mark especially was a great help in the practical and really helped me when I struggled since I have no practical or trade experience.
Thanks to Josh also as he was great at finding me a job and managed to get me one in around 3 weeks. He even kept checking up to update me about potential jobs and checked that when I did get a placement that I was happy with it.
My only criticism is that they could give you better warning and a better insight into what the course will contain and how difficult the exams are. Also I believe that the first “in college week” wasn’t great as we were supposed to be preparing for an exam but spent 3 of the 5 days doing other bits which I believe they could have fit into one day.
Other then that I have no complaints and would recommend this company to everybody

Last year I saw the company online
Last year I saw the company online, some time in month of February 20th 2025, I was thinking am in the right place, it all started with one person called Richard saying we offer jobs we got placement, after 1 month of training I went to their office he said we gonna spread this entire payment and you gonna get a payment plan, I Knew it was too sweet to be true, I wanted to leave as I wasn’t ready , he asked me to pay at least £60 I ended up paying £100 he said is to secure my spot until i was gonna be ready, after I got home I called him and said I don’t have money to continue an he refund, but he refused to refund and said he’ll wait until 7 months time then they would have moved to Birmingham in 2026, I definitely to listen to him hoping high, some time around October I had to call him and said I’m ready to start he said my slot is gone I will wait till 2026 but i.can go ahead and pay the fees, I paid £1500 and hoping I was ok to start, they refused me starting and said they had few changes that I have to pay my fees completely which wasn’t the original plan and agreement at all, I broken and forced to pay more over £500 and I was ask to still continue paying before starting as a matter of fact I should finish the entire payment, I then said I had enough refund me and still on 14 days payment window, this company cut my £250 for doing nothing for me or offering me any services, just so someone else doesn’t fall for their nonsense scam.
Just to buttress it was a Deploma level 2

We’re sorry to read that you feel unhappy about your experience.
According to our records, you first enrolled onto the Level 2 Electrical Diploma with Elec Training in April 2025 and paid a £250 deposit. At that stage you were issued with your enrolment contract and provided access to our online learning platform. Our records also show that you accessed the portal and began the online learning element of the course, completing lessons within the health and safety unit.
In May 2025 we were contacted explaining that your financial circumstances had changed and that the course was no longer affordable. At that stage we placed your enrolment on hold to allow you time before deciding whether to continue.
Later in the year you contacted us again to proceed with the course and additional payments were made in October and November 2025 in order to move forward with the agreed payment plan. During this time we also allocated you places on two separate course intakes while trying to accommodate your changing circumstances, and no additional charges were applied even when those places remained unused.
On 5 November 2025 we were contacted requesting that the course be cancelled due to financial difficulties. Following this request, a refund of £1,790 was issued. A £250 fee was retained to cover course registration, online learning access and administration, in line with the terms outlined in the enrolment contract.
Your enrolment for the qualification remains valid for up to three years, and we would still be happy to support you if you decide to continue your training. Please note that if you wish to complete your Level 2 qualification, any outstanding course fees would need to be paid before continuing your training.

I had a great time on the course and learnt lots of valuable skills. Neil did a great job making the theory side enjoyable and Mark made the practical side really fun, whilst preparing us for site work and expectations. Liam from recruitment found me work experience immediately in solar installation and is continuing to support and look for well suited roles which has been a massive help. I would highly recommend elec training to everyone looking to kickstart their career in electrics.

Don’t bother you’ll end up wasting your money it won’t get you a job.
All they do is give you a few websites and you have to look for a job yourself. 
You won’t even get a certificate. 
Just the money making scam.

Elec training on a whole has provided…
Elec training on a whole has provided an upstanding service and have delivered the service that was advertised to the letter.
However behind the scenes there are particular staff than have went above and beyond their job role. I would like to highlight Liam after my completion of Level 2 and 18th edition within a matter of weeks Liam found multiple job opportunities with multiple companies , prepared me for interviews , went through my cv altered it where needed and was on 24/7 call for any questions at hand including outside of what i presume his working hours would be . Liam has been crucial part in myself getting work within my city would definitely recommend elec training to others !

Liam has been brilliant when it comes to helping me find work as an electrician’s mate/ improver. Even though it has taken a long time to find a placement they have always been available to help. Any time I’ve had questions or needed advice,he has been there to support me, even outside normal hours.
