Excellent customer service

I recently ordered two remote controls for a Dimplex fire. I had an issue with ordering and inadvertently ordered them twice. Harrison checked this for me to see if I meant to have two identical orders (I did not). When I clarified which one was correct (they had different delivery addresses) Harrison ensured the correct one was dispatched and a refund issued for the other one (which I have received). My father in law received his remote controls and is very happy.
I have used this company before and the service is excellent.

No customer service and slow, suspicious service

I looked at Trustpilot before ordering from this company for the first time but I did not have a great experience. I ordered my goods on 1st February with estimated delivery 4-14 February. I emailed the company around 7th Feb to ask when it would be posted. No response I called and left a message on the afternoon on 11th Feb to chase. Again, no response. Waited to 16th Feb then submitted a claim with my credit card to cancel the payment since no response or goods received and surprise, surprise, about an hour later they emailed to say they would now send the goods. Seems like they would just take payment and not send you the goods unless you complain via your credit card company, so not a great experience.

We want to apologise for the stress and frustration this order caused. Reading that you felt our service was “suspicious” is truly disheartening, as we pride ourselves on being a transparent family business.

We have looked into this, and you’re correct that we missed your call on the 11th. We were overwhelmed that afternoon, but that is no excuse for not ringing you back. We are very sorry we left you in the dark there. Regarding your email on the 7th, we unfortunately have no record of receiving it, otherwise, we certainly would have replied.

The item you ordered was not in stock at the time of ordering, which is why you had an estimated delivery window (4th–14th Feb) rather than an exact date. This window was based on the latest information we had from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the stock arrived at our warehouse two days late. As soon as it arrived on the 16th, we immediately despatched it the same day via Next Day Delivery to get it to you as fast as possible.

We want to assure you that we receive no notification when a customer contacts their bank. The fact that your shipping confirmation went out an hour after you called your bank was a complete coincidence, it simply meant your order had been collected by Royal Mail and was on its way to you. We would never withhold an order intentionally.

I hope this clarifies the situation, and we apologise again for the delay and the missed call. If you would like to discuss this further, please do give us a call.

World class service!!

I usually do not leave reviews, BUT on this occasion I feel it is required. I purchased a spare part from Electricspares and after a few months, it had gone faulty. I called Electricspares and a gentleman named Harrison dealt with my issue. The customer service I received was absolutely world class!! There was no issues whatsoever. He sent out a new one and it arrived the following day. It was refreshing dealing with a local company and a friendly customer service representative. Electricspares has a customer for life. Thank you Harrison and Electricspares for a flawless exchange without any pressure.

Dimplex Optiflame solved issue

Requested information on problem with Dimplex Optimyst fire not producing smoke effect and got quick answer although never using company before. Problem was due to using cheaper non genuine part ordered elsewhere. Will make sure that I order parts from this company in future.

New transducer for Dimplex heater

I ordered a new transducer for my Dimplex Opti-myst electric heater. It arrived promptly and I was able to install it easily with the aid of the very clear and straightforward instructions provided. The heater's flame effect is now working beautifully again. Terrific service.

Best Customer Services ever

My dimplex opti-mist stove lost it's flame and smoke effect.
I came across electricspares excellent video on YouTube and decided to have a go at repairing it myself since there did not appear to be an agent in my area .
I phoned them to clarify a point and was put through to Oliver who took me through testing the components i.e transducer, fan, power supply before determining that the fault must be in the printed circuit board which I ordered. It was delivered to my door less than 24 hours later.
Including postage the cost was less than £50 as opposed to a replacement stove at around £500.

Brilliant service

Brilliant service, spoke to Oliver who was very knowledgeable & helpful. PCB arrived next day and fixed my problem, couldn't ask for better service.

A circuit board part was delivered very fast, well inside their committed delivery times, and we were able to cancel a further order that we placed by mistake without question. Superb service.

Contacted the company via email looking…

Contacted the company via email looking for a waterbottle for an Opymist fire after searching everywhere, which wasn't available because Dimplex had discontinued it. However, Oliver in the company went out of his way to help me and found an alternative part. I can't thank Oliver enough for his help and the company as a whole. I highly recommend Electricspares as the first place to go too for anything you need.

Nothing is too much trouble for Alan

Nothing is too much trouble for Alan. Service and posting was 1st class. I needed a large sump for my Dimplex Albany fire. Alan sent this out super quick I thought the transducer was not working efficiently. I contacted Electric Spares and spoke to Alan who was really helpful and he sent a replacement part before He had my return HOW GOOD IS THAT for service. It turned out neither part solved my problem but I decided to keep the sump sent second time I also bought a sump fan thinking this was the issue of no flame effect again the postage was miraculously quick. I cannot polish the buttons of this company enough what a gem! I would recommend and buy from electic spares anytime and probably will in the future.

Great company.

I am at that age where I get grumpy with things in life very easily. But I had to write to say how efficient the service is with Electric Spares. Dimplex parts arrived very quickly. Very competitively priced. Andy replied to my emailed questions promptly and was very helpful. 10/10. A company I would recomend.

Ordered Optimyst transducer late Friday afternoon and it arrived by post early Monday morning. Brilliant service and heater working perfectly. Have since ordered another item which is already on its way.

Dimplex transducer

I ordered a Transducer this morning for my Dimplex Optimyst heater from this company and I couldn't believe it when it was delivered a few hours later.. My fire is now working and I am pleased to say that I will certainly use electricspares again before trying anywhere else. Very good prompt service.
