Elestio stands out as a highly flexible managed hosting provider that combines strong technical capability with an exceptionally responsive and solution-oriented support team. What we value most is that their services can be adapted to real operational needs rather than forcing customers into a rigid, one-size-fits-all model.

Whenever an issue arises, the support team responds quickly and, more importantly, genuinely works toward a resolution instead of merely filtering requests through first-level support or redirecting customers to knowledge base articles. That level of engagement is something we have found to be rare among managed hosting providers.

We have been equally impressed by Elestio’s approach to feature requests. Depending on the scope of the request, they make a serious effort to deliver solutions within days or weeks. This is a remarkable contrast to other providers we have worked with, where even explicitly promised features often remained unresolved for years.

Another major advantage for us is their hosting setup with servers at Netcup. This allows us to use Netcup’s cost-effective root servers for self-hosted applications while keeping business-critical components as managed hosting services within the same data center. The result is an efficient, well-aligned infrastructure with both flexibility and operational reliability.

Elestio Makes Hosting Actually Easy

One-click deployments alone are worth the price of admission. I've used Elestio to host several open-source projects and it's saved me from a ton of headaches I used to deal with getting things live.

The support team is genuinely great - not just "we'll look into it" great, but actually helpful. They point me to exactly what I need and often just handle it directly. Combined with solid servers at a fraction of what I'd pay elsewhere, I'm running more sophisticated tools than I could manage on my own.

Two things I'd love to see improved: restores that carry over settings like domain names and database configs (right now there's extra setup after every restore), and more consistent software update timelines. Neither is a dealbreaker - just would round out an already strong platform.

Excellent place to host your applications on a scalable managed server!

I'm now using a Managed Server from Elestio, with several CI/CD-pipelines installed. This works very nice and gives a high level of flexibility to self-host applications. It's very easy to scale the configuration to your needs and the portal comes with many different views and options to monitor and manage your VM. Support works via the embedded ticketing system and is really fast and good. These people are really knowledgeable, not only about their own platform, but also about the applications that they can host. Highly recommended in case you find a good place to host multiple applications on a managed server!

SaaS as it should be

SaaS as it should be. Simply stays out of your way without investing much money - worth every cent.

Support is also fast and on point.

Overall I can really recommend Elest.io

Always really helpful, great value and flexible servers

Always really helpful and great value flexible servers. We have been using Elstio for a few years. You can easily upgrade and downgrade based on your current needs.

When we need help they always look into our issue and find a solution. We do not pay for premium support but rarely have to wait long for help.

Highly recommend.

I do love fabulous customer support

Thomas was absolutely fabulous. He helped me update my software and taught me how to do it myself when I asked.
It's the second time I reached out to the support team, and they always come through.

They solved my issue in less than a minute!

I had an issue with one of my softwares on Elestio, started submitting a support ticke immediately, but did not even have to send it, because now they have a built-in AI chatbot that helps you on the spot!
It looked at my code, and solved the issue in less than a minute!

I mean, their customer support was awesome before, but now it is the best that I have ever experienced!
I could not be more grateful!

Support Went Aggressive on New Signup…

Support Went Aggressive on New Signup very quickly.
I was frustrated with the fact I could not log in and was getting an arcane message after signup - I asked how could I trust the platform to be reliable?
They responded I must not care about security and probably logged in many times. Which was not true.
I popped the conversation into ChatGPT if that helps and it said hands down that the support aggressively escalated in unacceptable way.

Elestio support team is awesome

Elestio support team is awesome. They helped us a lot and we appreciate very much their assistance. Being a start-up with low budget, we disperately needed to implement a search engine for our WP website which has 310k posts, and we found this managed service they are offering. We had no experience in configuring the service or work with shell commands, and they kindly offered to help us for free (we are on free support tier and this kind of help is not included). They helped us with increasing to double the swap memory (at no cost) as we reached 98% of default swap memory during the indexation process, they answered to all our tickets immediately. We have only words of appreciation and respect. We reccomend them and feel confident in choosing them.

Perfect support

As a non-programmer, I needed to find a platform for quick deployment of self-hosted applications, especially crm for our company. Elestio is very easy even for a beginner, but after today's experience with support I have to write a positive review. Quick response, help with application deployment, even help with docker commands.. Support is perfect, thank you

Just to clarify how our process works: when a balance is running low, we send 1 reminder email per day for 7 days. If the balance goes negative, services are suspended (not deleted) for 3 additional days, with more email reminders. Only after this period, and if we still receive no response, the service is deleted. Even then, it remains restorable for 21 days.
