I had a very interesting time diving deeper into my topic and my mentor was also extremely helpful.

I enjoyed being part of ELIO Academy. The program and mentors were very helpful in creating my research project. However, some of the lectures were a bit long and complicated and there was a small lack of clear instruction and tips on how to research and create a poster.

The program was very helpful. As someone with no dry lab research experience, it started at the very beginning and walked through everything in a reasonable pace. From creating a research question, analyzing and receiving datasets, and creating the figures, I never felt lost.

This was a very worth while program. I learned a lot, and continued to develop my understanding of biology and biological processes.

This was an amazing experience, I loved being able to meet with my mentor frequently and really develop my project at a steady pace.

I had an amazing experience with Elio Academy and I am extremely grateful for everything I gained from the program. My mentor was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive throughout the entire research process. She consistently took the time to make sure I truly understood the scientific concepts behind my project, challenged me to think more deeply, and gave thoughtful feedback that helped me improve both my research and my confidence as a student researcher. I never felt like I was simply being told what to do; I felt guided, encouraged, and pushed to become more independent in my thinking. The program was very well structured, and the mentorship made such a huge difference in how much I was able to learn and accomplish. I would absolutely recommend Elio Academy to students who are serious about research and want meaningful guidance from mentors who genuinely care about their growth.

This program taught me a lot about what bioinformatics research is and the limitless resources available to study diseases on our very own computer. My mentor always encouraged us to ask questions and was available for one-on-one meetings to progress our projects. Overall, this program was extremely interesting to me.

ELIO Academy’s ERP transformed my approach to science by teaching me how to use professional bioinformatics tools, build publication-ready figures, and navigate the academic writing process. By mastering research-focused analysis and building on core biomedical fundamentals, I gained a framework for scientific investigation. Alongside strengthening my teamwork and networking skills, the program gave me the exact foundation I need for future research in the biomedical field.

My experience was great! I learned a lot from this program. It was very well-structured and I appreciate all the insight I received. I would definitely recommend to future students.

The mentorship I recieved was very personalized and educational.

I had a great experience in the program as I successfully learned how to make my first bioinformatics project. I learned how to start a bioinformatics research project which helped introduce me to research, something I have been hoping to do for a long time. However, there were instances where I felt the program could have been better at explaining how to take the project forward or how to personally go in more depth as a researcher.

I have been taking part in ELIO Academy programs since I was in 7th grade, and now, as an 11th grader, I can truly see just how much this program has helped to make me into who I am today. When I first joined ELIO, I was still very young and only beginning to understand what scientific research and academic writing really looked like. Over the years, the program has helped me grow tremendously in both my writing, my scientific knowledge and the ways in which I communicate scientific.
One of the most important parts of my experience with ELIO has been the constant support and encouragement I have received from my mentor. Throughout the years, they have always believed in me and guided me through challenges, and most of all, they have always encouraged me to continue pushing myself. Their mentorship has meant so much to me because they have never simply told me what to do, and she always focuses on making sure I am able to think independently and apply our lessons to my project.
Looking back at the student I was in 7th grade compared with who I am now, I feel incredibly grateful for how much ELIO Academy has contributed to my growth. The program has been such a meaningful and consistent part of my academic journey and I know that the lessons I have learned through ELIO will stay with me far beyond high school and continue to influence the way I approach learning in the future.

It was great! A lot of exposure to in debt research and tools, that help u really delve into the each aspect of your research topic. My only issue was the time difference. Since I took the summer course and I live in India, I had school at that time, while others had vacation, so balancing both was a challenge, but other than that, it was amazing and really informative.

The classes were engaging and easy to understand. Working one on one with the teacher enhanced my knowledge on how to design a scientific poster!

Ello helped me be able to understand research articles and learn more in depth about the human brain. However, I feel that the experience of making the project could’ve been easier and having more instruction.

This program is very interesting, and I enjoyed learning a lot.

It has been a great experience so far. The mentor for the program is absolutely amazing, topics were explained simply.

I really liked the topics and the course outline

The class is very thorough and having two separate sessions for lectures and going over the presentation is nice. I also like how the dashboard has our meeting recordings and slideshow to view back to later.
