An actual waste of time. Insructor would keep seeing how much time was left
Lots of time for silly questions and unclear directions.

I was suspicious of the platform at first, because I'd never heard of it, but ELVTR works with accomplished industry professionals who really know their stuff. I also appreciated the level of detail that went into the course, preparation, and assignments, and I'm grateful to Sabina, our program manager, who kept us on track, organized, and informed.

Ivy is an experienced UX Designer as well as a good instructor. She explained UX design concepts for videos games using engaging examples, and interactive exercises. It was a fun class and I enjoyed interacting with other students to evaluate UX designs for video games.

I' ve had a great learning expirience during my Board Game production coarse with Corey Koniezcka. Despite being brief (4 months, twice a week) course opened my eyes on every important aspect of designing a game: sales pitch, artwork, budgeting, finding production partners, playtesting and planing a project. If you are beginner, this course will be a massive help in understanding what you need to do, and where to get help. It was great to see students come up with their ideas, showcase games and sales pitches. Im not going to cover everything, but practical assignments were instrumental for my personal and professional growth. So, 5 stars and recomendation.

The most gate-kept, overly complex, odd format for a course I've ever taken. I am a week in and not very impressed. Releasing Zoom times hours before the session (insanely inconvenient), not simply sending out links for meetings, not having key information in the Google Classroom. Essentially having to operate across platforms to follow the information chain. Not letting students download materials, e.g. the syllabus. Also the company is described as being a platform, it's not; they use 3rd party tools.

I learned a lot through the Book Production Management course and had tons of fun while doing it! My instructor went above and beyond to share valuable information. I enjoyed the personal 1:1 and case studies throughout the course. I look forward to taking another course in the future!

There is no pricing info anywhere, so the only way I was to see how much the course was, was to book a consultation with an advisor. Which I then immediately cancelled upon seeing the price. Since then (3 days ago) I have received probably 8 emails spamming me. I have now had to block them and move them to junk. Scammy sales tactics and very strange behaviour to omit certain info to force you to input your contact information

I had the privilege of gaining new knowledge in the Sports Event Planning course led by Lauren Terrien.

From the perspective of platform organization and functionality, ELVTR demonstrates truly professional execution, allowing students to focus entirely on the learning process. All matters related to support and technical performance are handled at the highest level.

It was a genuinely unique experience.

I took the Motorsports marketing course with Guido Hakkenberg in 2025. He was very knowledgeable and well versed in the realm for his time with Williams and starting his own marketing shop.
I was happy to participate and network during the course. I thought the students were also very bright and international.
Hopefully there are more value adds with the company teaching useful skills and awareness of the marketing and technology aspects for industry in the future. Thank you for ushering staff as well, Caitlin was nice and often available to answer questions.

ELVTR was clutch! Being taught basketball analytics by someone currently in the industry as well as guest speakers in the basketball industry was amazing. It allowed me to opportunity to ask relevant questions as well as get insight directly from a trusted source. It was hands on and challenging and I left the class immediately implementing what I learned during the class and now after. I create amazing material and analytics to coaches and staff. Some of the best dollars I spent in 2025!

I had a fantastic experience. Lauren was brilliant throughout, and the guest speakers were truly exceptional — insightful, engaging, and extremely relevant to the industry. The course was both inspiring and very practical.

I would 100% recommend it to anyone interested in mega sporting events.

From the material to networking , the instructors, leaders, peers, it was an outstanding experience to get first hand insights and knowledge in the industry, unmatched. I am grateful for this opportunity as a whole and will apply what I extracted in this course.

I took the Book Illustration Course with Eric Nyquist and it was the best decision I made for myself! Eric provided so much information and resources on what book illustration is and how to get into it as a career. He doesn’t gate keep and he has so much support for people of all skill sets within illustration. It was also amazing hearing from different speakers within the industry and getting to work with other students around the world who share the same passion for art! I highly recommend taking his course if you are unsure of how to become a book illustrator and don’t know where to start. You’re the driver of your own opportunity!

The course material was very good and the instructor was incredible. The course layout was on point. The assignments were very relevant and helped me to build new skills. I enjoyed the interactions with classmates and I learned how to use things that I was previously unfamiliar with like discord, Google classrooms and tabletop simulator. The overall experience of this course was satisfying. I would recommend this to anyone

The overall curriculum gave practical knowledge, as well as anecdotes from several personages with real-world board game publishing experience.

Took a 6-week live online course with ELVTR. Really great instructor who was knowledgeable about the field, the classes were structured and engaging, and I’m certain I’ll be able to use my new skills as I pursue a career change.

I participated in the Board Game Design course with Corey Konieczka. It was a fun course, covering all the elements of designing and publishing a board game.
Corey was a great course leader and engaging and enthusiastic throughout. Sure you can read-up/watch many of the topics, but you get great insights, the chance to get your questions answered and also be part of a fun crowd of people.

I really enjoyed the Game Writing course with ELVTR. The structure was clear, the assignments were practical, and the insights from Lorne were genuinely valuable for understanding narrative design in games. The course gave me a much clearer picture of what game writing actually involves and how to approach it professionally. I would highly recommend it to anyone serious about interactive storytelling.

I took the Book Illustration course with ELVTR. Our instructor was the amazing illustrator, Eric Nyquist!He was very insightful and made the learning process really fun and interesting. I definitely learned a lot about the process of book illustration. I learned about the design process, typography layout, sizing formats, and pricing. Sabina, our program manager, was very helpful if any questions were asked about the course. Everyone was very kind and I really enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend ELVTR courses!
