I commissioned a painting showing my husband’s childhood memories of Plymouth Hoe & Smeaton’s Tower. Matthew corresponded with me every step of the way. Listened to my requests & produced a very personal painting. My husband could not believe that so many of his memories could be captured so vividly. The detail of the Spitfire, the battleship & Smeaton’s Tower are remarkable. Absolutely delighted with the fabulous painting! I would have no hesitation in recommending Matthew!

There are very few things anymore that can truly capture a moment in time and bring it back to life. Emeny art does that. He worked in extreme detail with me every step of the way to not only make sure I liked the painting but that it was accurate in every way to that moment. I’m really pleased with this excellent piece of art by Emeny Art entitled ‘Coming Home’ of my favourite Spitfire Mk iX which has now taken pride of place on the wall. Great communication, well package and professional service. I highly recommend this guy.

Matthew did a phenomenal painting of my father in his P-38 Lightning flying as wing man for my son in his F-15E Strike Eagle. The markings and colors are exactly as these fighters were flown in combat.
The painting is titled “Passing the Torch.” Take a look!

I asked Matthew to paint the ship that my beloved great-grandfather completed six Arctic convoys on during World War II, with the vague request that she be sailing out of Loch Ewe where he started the convoys from. He did so much research to make not only the ship accurate but the flags she would have been displaying, the uniforms and the landscape, and checked with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy. My great-grandfather was a signalman and is depicted on the ship signalling ‘L’ (for my name) to another sailor on the shore, which is such a lovely touch. I absolutely love the painting and cannot thank Matthew enough for the care and precision he put into it.
