I was refered to these people when I applied for my mortgage. They made a mistake on my documents and never fixed it. Apart of that they were not in a reasonable communication, quite often ignored my attempts to take them doing what they were supposed to and at the top of that behaved in an arrogant and disrespectful way.

Should I recommend them? No. I deeply regret of using such a company.

With regards to the pointless response below - one more proof to how reliable and professional these people are. I'm the client and the case was reported multiple times to them. They showed their arrogance and lack of motivation to respect their customers. At the top - the silly response below. :)

What can I say except EMG are Miracle works. Truly I came to them after a horrific experience with previous solicitors. The sale of my flat was hanging in the balance and I had lost faith in everything.But Callum from EMG swooped in and saved the day (and my sanity) even though im based in London it was all done remotely and seamlessly

From updates from the wonderful team (janet, Victoria, Callum) to working with the estate agents I was well informed. And knew that my case was in the safest hands

EMG were like that reassuring hug that makes everything better.

Professional and above and beyond in service I wouldn't hesitate in choosing them again or in recommending them

Baljinder and Michelle worked exceptionally hard on the sale of my apartment which was complicated by some matters pertaining to the lease and a change of hands on the other side. They understood it was an emotive sale for me and demonstrated compassion and patience throughout. Michelle is exceptional and I’m extremely grateful to have had her guiding me through the process. Recently I needed to update myself and my wife’s wills that EMG had previously drawn up for us.
This was carried out speedily and efficiently. We were given the option to come into the office or have the paperwork sent out to us.

I find the response to my previous review disappointing to say the least. It just shows how seriously this firm of solicitors takes reviews and the feelings of their customers, they obviously didn't even read my review as they state that they didn't act on my behalf so they couldn't comment further.

They did act on my behalf. There were two separate issues, firstly the divorce, where they acted on my ex wife's behalf. But they acted for both my ex wife and I on the sale of the family home. They were two completely different things

Maybe they don't understand how the law works and that's why they tried to keep money from the sale of the house and use it to pay for the fees for the divorce. Maybe they think that they were only dealing on my ex wife's behalf.

I would have thought that someone with Julia Middleton's alleged years of experience would have been to differentiate the two. Julia Middleton wasn't even supposed to be involved with the sale of the house, the solicitor involved was Richard Swinbank. However Julia Middleton saw fit to withhold funds from the sale of the house, to pay the divorce costs. It was nothing to do with her.

Like I said in my earlier review I was very well compensated financially by EMG, so they obviously knew they were in the wrong. However it took a lot of effort and perseverance to get to the conclusion I did.

Not everyone will challenge a solicitor, after all they act within the law, but in this case Julia Middleton didn't (in my view). If I can save just one person the agony of dealing with Julia Middleton then these reviews have been well worth the effort. The woman thinks she can do what she wants and is a bully for want of a better word.... steer well clear

I really would not recommend EMG solicitors to anyone looking for Court of Protection work. One star for the fact I was given a call back. Very unprofessional and rude. Charlotte Greenwell who is a trainee solicitor won't go far with the sort of attitude I had to deal with.
