Buying a listed property as a first home with no experience. David was fantastic at explaining the process and the options. Great communication with us and the estate agent. Made everything very smooth. Report came very promptly and is thorough and clearly states what needs doing and when. Can't fault it would absolutely use again.

Wanted to check that there were no unforeseen problems or issues prior to marketing. Has put our minds at rest and the survey has detailed minor issues that can easily be corrected. David did a major defects survey (£650) on our early 1900’s property, telling us that nothing would have to be repaired within 10 years. 1 week of having the keys our roof leaks (a lot, our second bedroom ceiling needs re-plastering) and we had to spend £7000 on repairing the roof. David has taken no responsibility and no compensation has been given to us. This has ruined our excitement of being first time buyers

David is amazing! I have never found anyone to be as helpful as him right from the first telephone conversation. The process of buying a property is a stressful one but David relieved a lot of that stress; He was patient, kind and listened to all of my concerns. He advised me on other issues with the property that went above and beyond his remit. His prices are very competitive and the quality of his report was exceptional. I'm a detail person and so is he! The report was clear, concise and looked at all the things I had listed in my email to him (and more!) I will definitely be recommending him to all my Family, Friends and Colleagues and will be going straight to him if I ever buy another property in the future. I selected David from a number of Surveyors as he had clearly looked online at the property I hope to purchase before contacting me so it was a personal approach rather than a stock response.
The report was conducted in a timely manner and I received it the following day. The report itself was comprehensive and clear. I wanted a little more clarity on one aspect to which he responded swiftly and reassured me.

David responded quickly to emails, was available in a reasonably short time to do a 'major defects survey' of the house we are buying, and produced a detailed report with a number of photographs, good explanations and recommendations. In contrast to another survey experience I had in the past which was of the more bland and standard text variety. Also at a competitive price, and the survey report produced very promptly after the survey. Would be very happy to use again.

Due to external factors I needed a quick turn around. They were the extra mile to get the survey done in a timely manner which enabled be to proceed.

David communicated clearly and well with us arriving to carry out the review of our property on time and producing his report the same day.
