Emirates/emirates holidays both refuse to refund us and now even talk to us.

We have already lost a deposit (even though our hotel is closed due to missiles striking the palm with the Iran war alongside a drone hitting the airport, now we stand to additionally lose the money I have paid to upgrade our seats. Another £324

Customer service has been shocking, they just ignore you then lie when you do speak to them, saying its impossible to refund the money? Why?

Iv not used the service iv paid for as its not safe to travel there, just give me back my money back and ill be happy, you can still sell the upgrades to someone else if your still daft enough to be travelling there.

The hotel is currently closed and flights are disrupted, but emirates couldnt care less.

I honestly thought better of Emirates but it turns out they are just a bunch of thieves

This was my first ever international trip, and I decided to book with Emirates Holidays and it was overall a good experience, though it came with a few learning moments along the way. The booking process itself was straightforward, and the travel arrangements were well-structured. However, aspects like the visa process and pre-travel requirements required extra attention, and since I had a short time before my trip, it made the process feel a bit overwhelming at first.

That said, once everything was sorted, the actual trip and coordination were smooth. I appreciate the quality of service provided throughout the journey, and I would consider booking with Emirates Holidays again—this time with more confidence and preparation.

I have been using Emirates Holidays for my vacations for 18 years and they have never failed to surpass expectations. From ease of booking to support and service in resort they are simply miles ahead of any competition. Outstanding service and I have no hesitation, whatsoever, in recommending them.

I would like to appreciate Emirates Holidays for the fast action in regards to the travel to UAE. For all the questions i had before travel, they remained polite and helpful with the information. They processed the visa fast enough, they advised on suitable travel dates ensuring the flights would not be cancelled and I’d have a smooth flight to and from. Amazing transfers with Marhaba and they were timely. During my stay, they even checked on me to know how i was fairing in which i find it superb care as their passenger. To the team members involved in this trip from before ticket acquisition to my safe return, a special thank you for making this experience magical and professionalism regardless of the tension in middle east. Thank you and i look forward to flying again with you soon.

This is our 2nd year in a row using Emirates Holidays and we continue to be happy with the service, especially the knowledge offered by the reps during the selection and booking stages. Even throughout the holiday we were checked upon as we had some issue with the hotel that was resolved immediately.

The only thing I would mention, especially during these unprecedented times is to be absolutely clear regarding the exceptions to the cancellation and refund policies as a result of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Thank you.

Room for Improvement
I was lucky enough to find a promo rate for a flight upgrade, but I only discovered it by coincidence. I suggest making these offers much more visible during the booking process. Additionally, it would be a massive improvement if these promo upgrades were available for the entire trip rather than just a single leg.

Overall: A fantastic experience—I’ll definitely be booking with them again!

I don’t think anyone does holiday planning as well as emirates holidays. Very professional service. Even through the regional challenges they handled my holiday to Singapore via Dubai with such professionalism. I highly recommend them to anyone who is planning a holiday.

From the booking here in Nairobi, which was a very awesome, the flight was amazing, on-board service was on point, well timed and the food😘.
My stay was awesome i enjoyed every bit of what the country and cities had to offer.

Book holiday for Dubai. Poor communication and handling of issues. Emirates Airlines has an advisory that any booking for travel from Feb 28 to Mar 31, 2026 has the option to rebook or refund due to the current issues at the gulf. However, Emirates Holidays group will not comply to the advisory but instead will make you wait until 48-72 hours before the flight putting your vacation hanging up on the air. This group is not aligned with Emirates Airlines advisory. Worst experience ever.

My wife and I have just returned again from another lovely trip to the Maldives booked again through Emirates Holidays.

Short notice trip but again Emirates Holidays managed to sort something out for us which was great.

The staff were great and the regular updates through email kept us well up to date on things.

The connections at Male were good with only a short time to wait for our next connection out to our final destination. The same with our return back to Male then back to Dubai.

The staff on the ground were excellent and helped make the trip another memorable visit to the Maldives.

We were looking for a last minute deal to Maldives and we had a very good experience with EH.
Hotel and flights on one single site, with a decent selection even 2 days before departure.

i reserved a complete trip package with Emirates holidays to Vienna with my wife and the service was impeccable and over expectation

The whole booking process was seamless and quick and when I needed to make changes Gugulethu was extremely helpful(and very friendly!) and did the changes for me without hesitation.
