They didn't do everything they said they'd do, but otherwise ...
The message left on my computer screen said "We are now processing your claim and will be in contact via SMS and email within the next 30 minutes with your next steps". I still have hear nothing about it on email, but they did text me to tell me that basically I don't have a claim because I didn't have an emssions cheat device. Before 2011, when I bought tyhe car in question, I did have a diesel Ford Focus, but the text I received clarified that this whole thing only applies to Merceds cars anyway, so I'd be wasting further time if I started to enquire about my ford focus diesel, which I had to scrap in 2011.
But at least the firm seems to be above board.

My review in progress . Full response will be available after I hear back from the company
Unknown so far as the company have asked for review before service delivered. sounds promising but I will only know for sure later tonight or tomorrow.
Have heard back from the company - am not eligible so fair enough.
My only concern therefore is how much unwanted advertising I may receive from all the personal data I needed to give to "submit my claim".
If I have the opportunity I will add to this post again when I work out the answer to the above

It’s an absolute scam! You will now get loads of calls from Delhi or Bombay, telling you anything to con you out of your money.
Ask for the address of anyone that calls you! They will soon go away!
