Absolute top top company and service. Cannot thank them enough for what they did for my dad and us.
my dad travelled to India and ended up having a stroke there. He was admitted to hospital and had treatment there. We needed our dad back in the UK as it’s “home”. He had no travel insurance so I had to seek medical repatriation. I came across a couple of companies and quotes and then came across EMS. I read their information and then requested a call. I spoke to Jay (who was situated in Dubai BUT are a UK company) who explained everything in detail and the timescale too. After consulting the family we went ahead with the quote EMS produced (they were cheaper than other companies to be honest)
Very quick turn around. I spoke to Jay on a Thursday. I accepted the quote on the Saturday (needed to arrange payment), submitted all the details such as records etc and by Tuesday I got a message saying my dad will be coming back to the UK on the Thursday. So it took 5 days. Really quick apart the airlines process of allowing my dad onboard but that’s not EMS fault.
The case was all handled by Arjun Menon. I personally never spoke to this individual but by the result and quick repatriation he did an amazing job too.
The medic that accompanied my dad on board the flight was amazing. She looked after my dad a lot and made sure he was comfortable. My dad travelled in business class as the seat could be adjusted for him to lie down.
I cannot thank Jay, Arjun and the team at EMS enough for bringing my dad back to the UK
Also I spoke to another person as Jay was not available, thanks to him too. So helpful. I think his name was Zain

Everything went very well. From the pilots to the nurse to the Medic - they were all very professional and made sure that not just the patient's needs were met but also the additional passenger.

Absolute Garbage..
Absolute Garbage... My mom has ALS.. we paid over 45K for them to move her from Vegas to Illinois. We pay... then they come back and ask for 33k more... we cancelled and they won't give my mom who HAS ALS her money back. They said it is in compliance review... its been there over 2 months now. I email and email and email.. they ignore me. DON'T GO TO THIS COMPANY IT'S A SCAM

The quotation for your mother’s medical evacuation was provided on 12 July 2025 and accepted on 14 July. A cancellation was first attempted on 16 July and officially received on 17 July. During this short period, her condition deteriorated, requiring additional in-flight medical support.
All actions were in accordance with our terms and conditions, which state that cancellations after acceptance are subject to review and do not automatically result in a refund.
We note that your legal representative has been involved for over a month, and this matter is being addressed through the proper legal channels.

The whole experience was excellent from the beginning to the end. Our flight attendants Joe and Ed were so friendly, caring and professional! They took care of every need the patient had and his wife. The pilots were excellent also explaining any changes we had and or problems.
We would recommend EMS Air Ambulance highly to anyone with an emergency need.

Soms wordt dit proces vertraagd waardoor mensen toch bij onze diensten uitkomen. first of all a huge thank you for your efficiency, friendly and supportive assistance with booking an ambulance for my husband James Ede and getting him back to London for treatment on Friday last. It was a huge relief to have your medical ambulance team taking over the task of getting him back to the UK following heart failure in France. It was complicated by difficulties in getting him admitted for further treatment in a suitable hospital but the Cleveland Clinic is proving an excellent choice and he is getting good treatment and a restful environment.

Seriös, schnell, verständnisvoll und kommunikativ
Die Reaktionszeiten waren super schnell, das Team nahezu ausschließlich deutsch sprechend, alle Nachfragen wurden zur vollsten Zufriedenheit sehr zeitnah beantwortet, auch während des Rücktransport bestand eine dauerhafte Information. Der Service war vollumfänglich, was die Kosten sehr schnell relativiert.

Ervaringen van een EMS-chauffeur
Ook ik voel mij toch een keer geroepen om een review te schrijven over EMS-ambulance.com.
Na jaren gewerkt te hebben als o.a. ambulancechauffeur bij Nederlandse ambulancediensten keek ik na mijn pensioen naar mogelijkheden om niet hele dagen thuis te zitten.
Ik kwam toen in contact met EMS-ambulance, die op zoek waren naar ambulancechauffeurs voor repatriëringen van patiënten uit heel Europa. Dit leek mij wel wat en na enkele sollicitatiegesprekken wilde men graag met mij en ik met hen in zee.
Tot nu toe heb ik geen enkele spijt gehad van mijn beslissing. Ik rijd samen met geweldige collega’s door heel Europa. Voor langere afstanden reis ik met een 2e chauffeur en minimaal 1 verpleegkundige. Als de situatie ernstig is kan er ook nog een 2e verpleegkundige mee rijden of een gespecialiseerde dokter.
Buiten de ambulances beschikt EMS-ambulance ook nog over 2 MICU’s. Deze afkorting staat voor Mobiele Intensive Care Unit. Deze beide voertuigen zijn erg uitgebreid uitgerust om ernstig zieke patiënten op efficiënte wijze te behandelen en vervoeren. Ook hiervoor beschikt EMS-ambulance over diverse ervaren en gekwalificeerde specialisten.
Ook de blijheid van patiënten, op het moment dat wij bij hen komen in een buitenlands ziekenhuis is fantastisch. Vaak ligt men in een ziekenhuis in een land waar men de spraak niet machtig is en is onduidelijk, wat men precies mankeert.
De geruststellende gedachte dat nu echt het transport gaat plaatsvinden in uiteraard heel fijn voor deze mensen. Ook de wijze waarop onze enthousiaste, gekwalificeerde verpleegkundigen in gesprek gaan met de patiënt en hun familie geeft veel voldoening.
We transporteren mensen door heel Europa en niet alleen naar Nederland. Ik heb inmiddels bijna alle landen in Europa wel bezocht met de ambulance. Naast transporten met de ambulance doet ems-ambulance ook repatriëringen middels lijnvluchtbegeleiding van de patiënt, via privévliegtuigen en speciale ambulancevliegtuigen. Ook hier zijn de mensen erg tevreden over.
Ik ben nog steeds erg blij en gelukkig met mijn werkzaamheden voor EMS-ambulance en ik hoop dit nog jaren te kunnen blijven doen.

Dit geeft mensen, die mogelijk van onze dienstverlening gebruik willen maken, een mooie inkijk in jouw werk op de ambulance.
Wij vinden het vooral fijn dat je nog even betrokken en bevlogen bent in het uitvoeren van de transporten per wegambulance als altijd! En we gunnen alle patiënten een chauffeur zoals jij, met aandacht en toch ook een beetje humor waar het kan.
Op naar nog vele veilige kilometers, mooie transporten en bijzondere verhalen!

Fortunately, EMS and their team handled the situation very professionally and brought my father back to the Netherlands.
EMS also immediately ensured they found a hospital in the Netherlands for my father's further care.
