EMX Courier has mastered a rare level…

EMX Courier has mastered a rare level of incompetence. I was expecting a delivery and received a call that rang exactly twice before being hung up. The number was unreachable and without any follow up, message, or attempt to contact me, my delivery was promptly cancelled. This level of service suggests either a complete lack of basic training or a total disregard for customers. Cancelling deliveries because your own staff can’t manage a phone call is impressive in the worst possible way. Truly outstanding incompetence.

I have never experienced such a level…

I have never experienced such a level of incompetence from a courier company operating in a city like Dubai.

I have been waiting two full days for a simple package delivery. Today, knowing I am leaving Dubai tomorrow for three months, I personally called EMX customer service and clearly explained the urgency. I was explicitly told — “100% sure, it will be delivered by 9:00 PM.”

Based on that assurance, I stayed inside my hotel room from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, canceling plans and wasting my entire evening, waiting for a courier that never showed up.

No delivery.
No follow-up call.
No explanation.
No accountability.

What makes this even more shocking is that Emirates NBD, a leading bank that promotes premium service standards, chooses to work with EMX — a courier service that demonstrates zero reliability and complete disregard for customers’ time.

In a global city like Dubai, where efficiency and professionalism are expected, this level of service is unacceptable. Broken promises, poor coordination, and a complete lack of respect for the customer.

If this is the logistics standard attached to one of the UAE’s top banks, it seriously raises questions.

Extremely disappointing. Completely unreliable. Absolutely unacceptable.

No banks in the United Arab Emirates…

No banks in the United Arab Emirates are switching to EMX I don't understand why but maybe because of its cheaper services but you can tell 100% that there is a very huge problem with this company in comparison to the older company that the bank uses which was Aramex.

In order to explain the case for everybody EMX basically is emarites post and Emirates post always have issues in the past and that's not my statement that's the government statement it always have the least rating when it comes to government services in the UAE now EMX is no different because it's the same entity basically it's very difficult to get hold of them and reach them now I have a shipment which is on the way and it got delayed and I kept waiting for it all day in my house I called them to see where is the shipment they open the case and they told me in the email that they will reply back in 3 days this is not acceptable for a shipment on the move.

Very disappointing

Reading previous made me feel more worst experience than ever. My whole day was ruined just because my card which supposed to be delivered between tne timeframe mentioned but end up with no solutions and keep repeating theyre following up. If you cant contact the delivery company, better yet change it.Its horrible and now I wasted my whole day waiting for nothing.

Disappointed: Wrong Information and Zero Coordination

I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with this courier service. I was first informed that my shipment would be delivered the next day, but nothing arrived. When I called to follow up, I was told the shipment wasn’t even scheduled for delivery — completely contradicting the earlier information. I was then assured it could be delivered to my home address instead of the office. However, when they called again over the weekend and I requested home delivery, the staff said he was already at the office and couldn’t change the address.

The lack of coordination, the inconsistent information, and the overall poor handling of my shipment were incredibly disappointing. I’m very unhappy with their service.

Repeated Delivery Failures and Poor Communication

I’ve had multiple shipments handled by EMX, and despite clear instructions and direct confirmation with both their customer service and driver, they repeatedly ignored my delivery requests. I confirmed that my parcels were to be held and delivered on a specific date — yet EMX sent them out regardless.

Communication is inconsistent, the system updates are unreliable, and escalation requests don’t seem to reach the people who actually handle deliveries. I spent more time chasing updates and correcting their mistakes than receiving service.

This level of disorganisation and disregard for customer instruction is unacceptable, especially when customers provide written confirmation and valid reasons for delivery scheduling.

I hope EMX reviews its internal coordination and begins taking customer communication seriously.

Absolutely useless company

Absolutely useless company, they turn up at the house without telling you, You pay for delivery and then you are hit with an import fee that you have to pay, there you have to pay in cash as there is no online payment. But I was in riyadh, so they ended up returning to sender. Literally a pointless, wasteful joke of a delivery service

Terrible Experience – Still No Card After Multiple Failed Deliveries

I’ve had an awful experience with EMX. My card delivery has failed several times because they keep sending verification messages to my old phone number, even after I provided my new number multiple times. Each time I contact support, they promise to fix it, but nothing ever changes.

It’s been extremely frustrating — the communication is poor, and there’s no real follow-up or accountability. I’ve wasted so much time trying to get something as simple as an address and phone update done.

I would never recommend EMX to anyone until they fix their customer service and stop making simple issues so complicated.

One of the worst experience

One of the worst experience. I will never recommend this courier company to others. They given delivery time 9 to 1 pm to my home address. But the delivery boy went to my office address, his name is Muhammed. I informed him to deliver my courier to my home address, bcz i registered in your system is my home address, but the delivery person neglect and he talk unprofessionally. Then I raise the complaint, but no one sort out that issue until now and I wasted my whole day for this emx courier company. Very unprofessional. I called the customer care that time they are telling delivery came to my home address. I told several times not my home address they went to office address...full of communication mistakes they are doing..voice call is recorded. I informed them to check the voice call for the proof if they need.. very bad experience from emx.

“Very bad service. The delivery team did not even wait for 2 minutes.
They tried to deal with me in an unprofessional manner, even though I am a genuine customer.
The delivery person behaved as if I was borrowing money from him. I have the video as proof.”

Terrible experience


"Terrible experience with EMX Courier Services, I waited 2 days , 9-1 PM for a delivery with no updates on their arrival time. The customer service was unreachable, leaving me hanging all day. It's unacceptable to expect customers to waste half their day waiting for a delivery. Given UAE's advanced infrastructure, it's shocking to see such outdated practices. 1/5 stars – not recommended."

If you need something serious, this isnt your delivery

If you have something urgent or that requires reliability, this is definitely not the delivery service to use. They completely disregard their responsibility, schedule appointments they don’t show up for, and only waste your time. Their customer service and tracking system are essentially nonexistent.
