Overall a very dissatisfying experience. ENCON were appointed by SEAI to carry out an external insulation upgrade and supply new condensing boiler to our home in April 2024.
They are one of these appointed SEAI One Stop Shops.
My early advice would be this: Do your own project management.
OUR issues are many and last chance saloon is The Ombudsman. Our case lies there presently as we are left with no other option.
Eastern Europeans carried out the external insulation. One sectional installed wall of same ended up again in the garden as it fell down overnight. So much more, it would take the entire afternoon to detail it.

Encon completed various scopes on the deep retrofit upgrade project of my home including: External Wall Insulation, Air to Water Heat Pump package including re-plumb, mechanical DCV & attic insulation upgrade. Very easy to deal with from initial proposal to handover, Sssistance in the grant process also. thankyou.

Got solar panels installed from Encon. Found them very easy to deal with. I had a small issue and they came straight out to sort it. I would highly recommend them. From start to finish they were great.

The Encon team recently completed a full retrofit on my home in Waterford City. They installed an EV chargihg unit, removed the old wall insulation and pumped the cavity walls with modern, energy efficient bead. In addition, insulated our attic and replaced all the windows with triple glazing property. From the very start they were professional, and very considerate when working on the interior of our home. They arrived on time every day and finished the work on time and on budget. The clean up crew arrived on the final day, and cleaned up to a very satisfactory standard. I would highly recommend Conor, Bob and the Encon team. They did a fantastic job 👏.

Highly Recommend Encon for Solar Installation

We had an 8.8kWh, 20-panel solar system installed by Encon, and the results have been fantastic. Our electricity account is now €562 in credit, and this month alone we received a €192 credit from selling excess energy back to the grid!

The service and workmanship from Encon were absolutely first class from start to finish. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy and stress-free.

If you’re considering solar, I can’t recommend Encon highly enough — it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made!

I did substantial energy upgrade work to my house through the One Stop Shop arrangement - Encon was the contractor appointed. I was very satisfied with the end result, have much greater comfort in my home and know the return on investment will be worth it. Encon are an excellent company, they made a stressful project easy for me. Conor and Bobby gave really good advice and were easily contactable at all times. All work was done to schedule and staff on the ground were pleasant and respectful of my home. I would highly recommend them.

Encon completed a full renovation of my house and energy retrofit through the one stop shop. The thought of starting into this project was quite daunting for me but could not recommend the guys at Encon enough, Bob and Conor were so helpful and engaging throughout the whole process. Everyone was always easily contactable and everything was discussed before work was started or if we ran into problems. All the guys on site were so friendly and hard working. They all made what I thought would be a very stressful time to be a much more enjoyable time and that is down to ALL the great people who work there. Thank you so much guys for my lovely home.

From start to finish. Full on engagement, from everybody top to bottom . Especially the ground crew. And so respectful to each other. Which comes from the top down. A trait that is not seen so much anymore. And no problem to get to talk to the boss at any time.

I needed internal roof insulation on an exposed internal roof/ceiling between the exposed wooden beams. Encon did a marvellous job. They were professional, arrived on the given date and completed on the suggested date. I am very pleased with the outcome and the house feels so much warmer.
