Horrible company and software.
Zero support and nothing works.
Just avoid this altogether.
Waste of time and money.

I paid $300 for Engain and got almost no value from the service. Most tasks were cancelled or the comments disappeared, leaving me with basically 1–2 usable comments.

Their team then offered me an Engain Account as a solution. It remained stuck in “warming up” for around two weeks and never became usable. Meanwhile, my subscription expired.

The worst part is the support. Responses took days, they acknowledged the problem, promised to resolve/compensate it, and then simply stopped responding. I sent multiple follow-ups and was ignored.

I paid $300, received almost nothing useful, wasted weeks dealing with support, and was ultimately left without a resolution.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend staying away from Engain.

We're pretty disapointed with engain. As one of the early supporters of the product things started well but the quality went downhill. We notice the opportunities and our account keywords had no relation to each other, it frequently missed reddit threads that clearly had our brand name and keywords we were targeting.

I found myself doing more manual work hunting for threads that it missed. The service is buggy, the generated comments are worthless.

Unfortunately they also doubled the price of the service, we only found that out after pausing our account for 1 month. They refuse to grandfather us in to the same pricing tier we had. They also refused to give us money back on $400 + dollars of additional credits we purchased. Find a better platform and more professional team
