Known as The Literature Experts, eNotes.com is an educational platform established in 2004 designed to assist students and educators with classroom activities and homework. The website provides many resources to enhance learning and understanding across various subjects, including study guides, lesson plans, literary criticism, and quizzes. eNotes offers in-depth analyses and critical interpretations of texts, which are particularly useful for literature students and are essential for developing a deeper understanding of the material.
At eNotes, we believe in harnessing the power of technology to enhance your learning experience. That's why we've integrated innovative study tools like the Essay Lab, Instant Answers, and AI Fact-Checks. The Essay Lab is not just a tool; it's your personal writing coach, tailoring its guidance on structure, content, and thesis statement ideas to your specific needs and helping you refine and perfect your writing.
Instant Answers, powered by Prospero, our state-of-the-art AI, offers real-time responses to academic questions. It draws from a vast collection of literary and educational content from the eNotes library. This instant support is a game-changer, providing students with the answers they need right when they need them, especially for those needing quick clarification or answers while studying.
eNotes ensures the reliability of information through its unique AI Fact-Check feature. Once an AI-generated answer is provided, it can be fact-checked by human educators, combining the speed of AI with the reliability of expert verification. This blend of technology and human oversight ensures that students and teachers receive accurate and dependable educational support. Our educators are teachers, professors, and literature experts, leaving students in trustworthy hands.

Hi Kevin! I am sorry that you did not find eNotes helpful. We generally don’t have too many interviews on our website, but we do have a team of educators who might be able to help. Do you want to email your exact inquiry to support@enotes.com and I will try to get your question answered? In the meantime, I have cancelled and refunded your order. Please let us know if you have any questions, and I hope that you have a good day.

The Decline and Fall of eNotes
I have used eNotes in classes many times. They used to provide extensive, thorough coverage (often a few hundred pages) of the book or author in question. And a subscription would let me download as many as I needed during a given year. Now all that has changed! My subscription let me download a few, and the ones I did were extremely short and superficial: virtually useless. It's a great pity to see that such a valuable resource has been totally degraded.

Hi Michael! Thanks for leaving your feedback. It looks like you maybe ordered the student pass instead of the teacher pass. (The Teacher Pass allows a lot more downloads.) I have added a free Teacher Pass to your account in case you would like to check out more downloads. Currently, this pass includes 15 downloads per month. Here’s a link to our current lesson plans: https://www.enotes.com/lesson-plans We have most of the same content, but our licensing agreement with Teacher’s Pet Publications ended quite a few years ago and this might have been what you were downloading? Please let us know if you have any questions, and hope that you have a good week. -eNotes Team

eNotes has been invaluable
eNotes has been an invaluable part of our daughter's education, as well as a resource I love using myself to enhance both my reading for pleasure and writing for work. It's been a fantastic resource all around, easy and fun to navigate, and a much better experience than those I've had with other online study guides.

Content which are given in enotes are very nice and easy to learn. But only selective writer's details or work is there . Indian writer work is not there at all so most of the time during exams it didn't help much as per my MA Eng coursebook it's a mixture of Indian and international writers. So many times I felt like I wasted my money by subscribing
