We huurden via Sunny Cars bij Epi, en werden op de luchthaven opgewacht door een vriendelijke man, die ons naar Epi bracht. Omdat we een wagen met hogere instap gevraagd haddenç we zijn alle 4 zeventigers),
kregen we een zo goed als nieuwe Citroen toegewezen, met amper 3000 km op de teller. Na wat gesukkel door ons om de Waze in te schakelen, kwam ene Anastasia ons ter hulp, en binnen de kortste keren stond er via mijn gsm een echte GPS op ons scherm, die ons de hele week perfect bracht waar we naartoe wilden. Dankjewel Anastasia voor je geweldige, geduldige en supervriendelijk hulp.
Jij maakte onze vakantie super. Bedankt ook aan de vrouw die onze wagen terug nam na onze reis. We hadden daags voor onze terugkeer nog getankt, en we wilden ook nog de paar liter bijtanken voor de 32 km die we nog moesten rijden, maar we vonden geen benzinestation meer vlakbij. Ze heeft het ons vergeven :).Voor ons is EPI een superverhuurder hoor.

We were charged €200 for "excessive use" of the vehicle, allegedly due to the car's interior being "very dirty." In reality, there was a small stain on the driver's seat (likely from salt water), and a few traces of sunscreen on the passenger and children’s seats — nothing excessive. The sunscreen wiped off easily. We were very respectful with the car throughout the rental. I even placed a towel under my wet swimsuit to avoid damaging the seats. In other compagny, the price for cleaning a car was 50 euros.

Le recensioni positive su Google, Trustpilot e DiscoverCars, oltre al prezzo molto competitivo, mi hanno convinta a scegliere quest’agenzia per il noleggio di un’auto da utilizzare durante un viaggio on the road in Portogallo (da Lisbona all’Algarve). Ho effettuato la prenotazione attraverso Discovercars, anziché direttamente con l’agenzia, per assicurarmi una maggiore tutela in caso di problemi (ho acquistato l’assicurazione, economicamente vantaggiosa, offerta da DiscoverCars). Gli uffici, dove bisogna recarsi sia per la firma del contratto sia per il ritiro e la riconsegna dell'auto, non sono all'interno dell'aeroporto, ma raggiungibili con la navetta organizzata da Epi. Secondo le istruzioni riportate nella conferma della prenotazione, avremmo dovuto trovare un rappresentante di Epi in aeroporto nell'area del negozio Vodafone che ci avrebbe accompagnato fino alla navetta. Tuttavia, dopo mezz'ora di inutile attesa, ci siamo accorti che la navetta era già in partenza. Consiglio quindi di dare un'occhiata fuori nel caso nella zona del punto Vodafone non si intraveda nessun rappresentante di Epi. Il tragitto fino agli uffici è comunque breve (un quarto d'ora circa). La firma del contratto è avvenuta in tempi rapidissimi e non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna pressione dal personale per acquistare ulteriori assicurazioni. Ci è stata consegnata un'auto di una categoria superiore rispetto a quella da me scelta in fase di prenotazione senza alcun costo aggiuntivo. Dal momento che sapevamo che avremmo percorso l'autostrada, abbiamo scelto di inserire nel contratto il noleggio del dispositivo Via Verde (il corrispettivo del Telepass in Italia). Con mia grande sorpresa (infatti non lo avevo letto in nessuna recensione), Epi non effettua la pre-autorizzazione dell'importo massimo della franchigia (1000€). L'importo totale dei pedaggi mi è stato scalato dalla carta di credito dopo tre settimane dal termine del noleggio. La mia esperienza con Epi è stata più che positiva.

I rented a car for 10 days in july and for the fifth consecutive time I chose epirentacar. They are helpful, always attentive and ready, as far as possible, to meet the customer's needs. The additional driver is always included in their rates on a free basis.
I wanted to thank EPIRENT staff because, as usual, everything was easy and they are always kind and professional!!! Everyone of them contributes to make this company really the best!

Auto bij EPI rentacar gehuurd i.c.m. Sunny Car. Dit is een gouden combi. Alles perfect geregeld. Online invullen huurcontract, shuttleservice super geregeld en zeer vriendelijk personeel en als kers op de taart een Seat Ibiza i.p.v. een Panda . Volgende keer voor ons zeker weer bij E.P.I.rentacar.

We hired a car for ten days in January from Faro. (I'm looking for reviews at another airport and remembered I hadn't left a review for these.) The car was clean and reliable. (The low tire pressure light did come on towards the end of the rental but this was not an issue for us or at the return desk). The rental price was great value. The transfers from the airport were smooth, there were no aggressive or fraudulent sales tactics on arrival, and there's no young driver premium from the age of 22. This is the best car rental experience I've had from an airport-based hire company and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Rented car from Faro, Portugal. Shuttle was only 5 mins wait, driver friendly, car collection and return was excellent with helpful friendly staff. Shuttle back to airport 3 mins after unloading car. Highly recommended

Gehuurd via Sunny Cars. Alles was goed geregeld. De shuttle chauffeur die ons van het vliegveld haalde had ook goed in de gaten wie er aan de beurt was. Waardoor een vrouw die voor probeerde te dringen, gewoon netjes op haar beurt moest wachten.
De vrouw bij de balie hielp ons heel vriendelijk en ze reageerde leuk op onze enthousiaste vakantie stemming.

I strongly advise against renting from EPI Car Rental. I rented a nine-passenger van from EPI Car Rental at the Lisbon airport, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the experience. During our drive on the highway, part of the door trim unexpectedly fell off, and we have no idea where it went. Despite this being a clear issue with the vehicle's maintenance, EPI Car Rental is now charging us €500 to replace it!

It's frustrating to be held responsible for something that was likely due to poor upkeep of the vehicle. If you don't want to end up paying for their failure to maintain their cars properly rent somewhere else.

Goede ervaring gehad bij EPI rent a car in Faro, Portugal. Vriendelijke werknemers en een fijn bedrijf om bij te huren.

Via Sunny cars bij Epi rent a car in Faro terecht gekomen. Bijzonder slechte ervaring met Epi. Auto had schade maar dat "hoefde bij Sunnycars" niet ingevuld te worden; dus zelf maar foto's gemaakt. Na ontvangst autosleutels werd ik de deur uitgekeken. Bij een eerste regenbui moeten stoppen omdat de ruitenwissers er gerafeld bij hingen.
Bij zonniger weer retour Epi: geen excuses, kortaf, humeurig klant-onvriendelijk personeel.
Bij retourneren in het avondlicht, deed een vrouw het achterportier open.
Omdat ze zich niet voorstelde vroeg ik of ze van Epi was (er zijn daar meerdere autorentals) ... het antwoord was : "neen ze liep daar 's avonds voor haar plezier rond"
Na benzinecheck kon ik gaan.

What a great experience. Would definitely recommend this company. The people are so friendly but mostly I did not have any sneaky hidden fees. The price was great and full insurance was included when booking. Very easy and stress free, we will be using them again when we go back. Thanks!

Op Lissabon AirPort een Seat Leon cat d gehuurd via Sunny cars. Prima auto zo goed als nieuw tegen gunstig tarief. Alles inclusief dus geen gezeur over schade afkoop ed. Zowel bij vertrek als aankomt prima opgevangen door personeel van epi.
