We have been on the pilot scheme with Equivolt, and are very happy with the whole experience of having a house battery that is managed by them. We do not notice any effect on how our appliances work, but when we look at our smart meter during the day we see virtually no power being used from the grid. The Equivolt+ management system works really effectively, so we don’t have to do anything ourselves to get the best use out of our battery.
Our electricity bills have halved, and monitoring the details given by our electricity provider shows us that nearly all the electricity we use is during our off peak spell.
The snapshots provided by Equivolt give far more detail about our electricity use, which we find both interesting and valuable. They have helped us become even more efficient with getting the most from our tariff. Equivolt also helped us find the most suitable tariff for us, which is an EV tariff that doesn’t require us to have an EV.
Overall, we are very pleased indeed with our system which has worked very well since late 2025, and the support that Equivolt have provided.

Charging up a battery at cheap overnight rates and then running my house during the day using that electricity, saving paying at peak rates, just makes so much sense. And with every price rise, the logic just gets more compelling. I'd been looking at this for some time, but EquiVolt's pricing makes it a no-brainer.

The company is run by extremely professional, passionate and knowledgeable people. No sales pressure - just enthusiasm! The installation was super easy, and everything worked just as it should immediately.
