After being scammed by a user who convinced me to transact outside the platform, I reported the issue in good faith to warn others and promote safer dealings. Instead of addressing the situation properly, both the scammer and I were removed from the group without fair consideration. This response was unprofessional and discouraging. I strongly advise users to be cautious and always insist on proper escrow protection.

Escrow Village does not sell users’ personal data, including NIN information. NIN is collected strictly for KYC (Know Your Customer) purposes to verify the identity of all users and ensure a secure marketplace.
Additionally, our system is automated: once a buyer releases funds, they are transferred to the seller without unnecessary delay. We do not intentionally hold or delay users’ funds.
