Extremely slow and incompetent workers - and threatens customers with lawsuit
I had the misfortune of having two carpenters (one turned out to be an electrician/plumber) from Eurofundusze working on my living room and dining room (60 m2 in total). Almost 500 hours later they were less than half finished with a job that a Danish carpenter had estimated at about 300 hours.
If you do contract with Eurofundusze I’d advise a very low hourly salary, otherwise you end up paying way more than you expected. A project manager with more than 30 years’ experience in construction estimated at wooden wall frame with 46 pieces of 45x95 mm wood as a 8 hour job – Eurofundusze’s carpenter spent almost 30 hours on that task alone.
When I complained about high bills and lack of progress, Eurofundusze kept maintaining that the workers were “competent”. I ended up terminating the contract due to lack of progress. I offered to pay 40 hours of the final bill of 100 hours, based on expert opinion on the time needed to complete these jobs. Eurofundusze just claims that time was spent because I kept changing my mind and was critical. Not so, since I know very well that changing your mind will only end up costing yourself more money.
Eurofundusze or their Danish agent Workforce.dk have not wished to inspect the work that has been done, nor have they wanted an independent assesment. They have immidiately taken legal action over payment of the last invoice.
