Absolutely dreadful
Absolutely dreadful company. Refuses to offer refunds when they have falsely advertised their packages. Terrible photography at Steps meet and greet, not able to talk to the band, customer service in total denial and refusal to acknowledge any of guests’ complaints, simply telling them it is fine. It’s not fine. Event Travel have been reported to Trading Standards.

Had to cancel Elton John concert in…
Had to cancel Elton John concert in Glasgow due to the Artist postponing the date until 2023. Event Travel refunded in full (less the insurance premium - fair enough) without any hassle or stress. Would definitely use them again based on this experience.

We had booked tickets to go and see Pet Shop Boys, this was understandably rescheduled for 2021. I informed the company that I would not be able to attend this date and within 3 working days my refund was in my bank account. When it is taken into account what was happening in the world during this time I was pleasantly surprised at how efficiently my refund was processed. The customer services advisor was emailing me whilst working from home but offered excellent customer service. I would definitely not hesitate to book through Event Travel again.

Falls short
I have only booked this company once to see the barbara striesand event in Hyde Park, this was a VIP event which was good. The mistake I made was booking the andreas boccelli concert in Scotland. Which was a disaster.
The concert was good but the hotel I stayed in Glasgow was one of the worst I have ever have the misfortune to stay in. After I complained about the treatment I suffered at the hands of the hotel they half-heartedly tried to put things right, but also informed me that no-one else had problems! (So that's alright then!) after the manager reassured me that the Head office at the Hilton would put things right and if they didn't they would help me, I received zero response from them.
I am warning anyone now, if Event travel book you into the Hilton hotel in Glasgow don't go, particularly if you are non-white.
I booked a VIP experience but it was a zero experience. I would not even leave a dog in that hotel.
Event does not care. I am looking to take this further with the Race Relations board.
