Worst service imaginable.

Worst service imaginable.
Wait 35 minutes to be told that this is "billing" and I need to wait another 40 minutes to transfer service.

Call back can't be scheduled for the next day (even though it is 3 pm now and they close soon).

Website sucks in so many ways. Useless.

eversource is a scam lying bs

eversource is a scam lying bs. company. they mail you a statement with your bill saying how they spend mega money to trim trees around power lines. they do nothing unless a tree falls on line. I have lived in same area for 20 yrs. with trees hanging on wires on Rt. 116 littleton rd. in whitefield nh. with nothing done. all bs.

We had scheduled auto payment

We had scheduled auto payment. There was no issue for few years but last year they stopped taking monthly payments from our account ( still same credit card) and after 6 months they decided to charge us 1200$! Who can afford that. This is totally unacceptable, because it was not our fault.

Can I give Eversource "O" for a Star

Can I give Eversource "O" for a Star? I get notices telling me how Eversource "cares" and wants to help seniors and those in "need", yet the prices keep going up. My wife and I genuinely tried to reduce our usage by extra-special attention to details: shutting lights (and sitting in the dark), turning off printers and other machines conscientiously.... yet our bill went up and we are forced to rely on Eversource's "meter readings" without ever having a chance to challenge them. I think they make up numbers. But regardless, they have no soul, no conscience and no heart. Cruel corporation pretending to be "woke" by SAYING the right things but not actually doing them.

Slow to respond.

Thought a big company would be more helpful, could not get service to look at an Eversource cable attached to my house leaving a 2" round hole in my siding. They said it must have been done by a private contractor and would not inspect. Even if it was, just purchased house and no-one knows, Eversource should be responsible for their support cable/electric lines. Waited months to try resolve and fixed myself, do not recommend doing this and after Eversource told me the same thing. They could come and deenergize the line for repair, but would not do the repair. I'm sure they could have done it in less time than me and it would have looked better to, for sure.

Eversource Outrageous Rate Increase

What a joke! Joe Nolan, Eversource CEO, celebrating the Inflation Reduction Act while raising electric rates by 100%.

I had to laugh to keep from crying when I received my January electric bill for $970.00. This is well more than double for the same period in 2022 (OBTW, way more than my monthly mortgage payment). How interesting that the CEO’s salary was also doubled and Eversource posted record profits.

Joe Nolan, you should be ashamed. Since I’m retired on a fixed income and you received quite a substantial salary increase, would you pay my electric bill?

We have been without power for 3 days…

We have been without power for 3 days and will be for at least another day or two. The problem being we are a single family home with no one else affected. This is because Eversource refused to take down trees last fall that we said were in the power lines. Sure enough, one of those trees took out the power out during the last Nor’easter. Now we are being put at the end of the line because of their mistake. All food in the fridge and 2 freezers will have to be pitched. We are on our way to buy a generator. All this because Eversource wouldn’t take a few small trees down. Worst company ever.

One of the most complicated website

One of the most complicated website. It's hard to understand between the current balance and the previous one. Please, simplify the navigation for your customers and find another way to replace that endless table with an incomprehensible numbers and dates. Also, add a link to a web tech support.

Bill was overdue and I had not…

Bill was overdue and I had not realized. No letters or communications. Received an out of date letter threatening disconnection and app/website wouldn’t let me pay.. customer service hours are only Monday through Friday 8am-6pm with no option to speak with anyone. Thankfully they had not turned off my power as threatened but it’s ridiculous no communication and no one to speak to outside of my working day. There needs to be genuine choice on electricity service as well as supply and round the clock assistance for those who need it. I would give Eversource zero stars if the option was available.

Cost has tripled in past 2 years.

Cost has tripled since moving in 2 years ago..
I'm a tech nerd and need computers and other equipment for my job. I moved to an area with cheap power (around 7c/kwh) around 2 years ago.
Today I'm paying almost 23c/kwh.
What started as a measly 80$ per month bill has skyrocketed to around $250. I realize we may be in "pressing times", but I'm now paying double for my energy as my friends in notoriously expensive areas, and the company is producing 20% more revenue this year compared to last year; Not to mention living near a nuke and numerous green energy plants.. And their excuse is a war different continent across the ocean.
This company does not care about it's customers as much as other energy companies clearly.
The upside is I've only had a total of 8 hours without power since moving in, that's impressive.

It is absurd to pay over $200 for…

It is absurd to pay over $200 for electricity... Especially with the crazy delivery fees are sometimes half of your entire bill. Oh and the fact you are never home cause you have to work 2 jobs to pay all these outstanding prices even though you pay everything early and prompt. Things are not making sense and do not add up. CT is highway robbery..

Absolutely the worst company out there

Absolutely the worst company out there. I live in a multi-family house. They totally screwed up both of my utilities and have been charging me my neighbors bill for over a year. They haven’t reached out in 3 months. They deleted my electric account, and sent me a disconnect notice.

Recently I called customer service…

Recently I called customer service because my bill came out to twice more then what I usually pay and all I wanted was a meter checking, the customer service didn’t care at all seemed to want to end my call without any solution. I am looking into changing my electric company.

AWFUL

UPDATE: They increased their bills by 48%, that's doubling your bills! Can you believe this company, begs the question, how many millions does the CEO, CFO and other executives make? WITH INFRASTRUCTURE BUILT BY OUR GRAND, & Great grandparents, these people have no shame! People need to speak up more. THANK GOD I got solar, Eversource doesn't want u to go solar because you will break free from their chains, call this guy (Michael Ficarra) at Venture solar, tell them Gus sent you their way 1 (413) 222-6258, the state gives you 26%back on the price of the solar panels in your tax return!
They charge $170+ just for "delivery fee", with infrastructure that was built BY THE TAX PAYER, 100+ years ago. RIDICULOUS. Lower your "delivery fee"... We, the tax payer built your infrastructure nearly a century ago. And when you get solar, they only pay you 14c p/KW hour, when they charge 22c P/KW hour for their own pockets. This company needs to be seriously regulated. We need to stop regulating the private sector and start regulating these tax payer funded, public utilities, "legal monopolies", they need some serious regulations.

Outstanding customer service

I needed to call customer service to get assistance with helping one of my participants for work. Tracy in South Carolina went about and beyond. I had been calling and working on an issue for months. She got everything cleared up and was so friendly and knowledgeable. When we were done with that issue she had to hand me off to another department and made sure the connection was made. I then spoke with Robin and AGAIN another person who was knowledgeable and friendly! Thanks EverSource!

Worst of worst !Terrible power company

Terrible power company. National grid is a million times better. Incompetent emergency crew. Unavailable staff in storms and other situations. Took 15hours for them to just report tree limbs touching power lines causing the outage and fixing it..terrible. Bunch of losers! Avoid avoid avoid !
