This was the first time I had used this company but I was kept fully informed of all progress throughout. I would certainly recommend Sarah and Jonathan.

A genuine 5 Star service which is well deserved as everything was better than expected.

I purchased 8 lots being a mixture of average 4Kg and 100g, I opted for courier delivery, the 3 parcels arrived faster than expected with everything well wrapped and no issues at all. Thank you.

Great service. I was a buyer and they were very helpful when I wanted to check I’d made a commission bid on the correct lot. Invoicing to include postage was done very quickly and my purchase arrived the day after they received my payment.

Easy to deal with. Friendly company, with honest grading on products sold. Great service from start to finish.

Top team and very helpful with advise on selling - they kept me informed of the auction process by emails every time. Even picked up some extra comic books from my home address! Only UK auction house I will use for selling my collection.

The only problem that I had was when I came to pay on-line.
Checking the my card billing/postal address I realised that there was a post code error, but an email and phone call later and it was all sorted.

An excellent experience. We had classic 'car boot' moment. We had a box of my father's old toys and games (1930s), none were in good shape, covered in dust and grime. Couldn't find much about them online, deliberating whether to just chuck them. But googled Excalibur and emailed a photo of everything laid out. Jonathan's initial assessment was nothing stood out, but encouraged me to bring them in. We took the box in, and Jonathan looked through and picked out 2 Japanese tin plate toys as a bit special for a separate lot. They took excellent photos and sent us a full set for our records. Fully expected to come back and pick them up unsold, however the box of toys went for £110, and the 2 tin plate toys went for £1,600...flabbergasted. Sarah and Jonathan provide a personal ‘family’ service, easy to deal with and very responsive…. obviously delighted we made the effort to take the box to Excalibur Auctions.

The team at Excalibur are very professional but also very friendly. They contact you very quickly to sort any queries you may have and do it with a very good attitude. Thoroughly recommended.

Really like this company. Both Jonathan and Sarah are very approachable and Jonathan was very good at setting my expectations in relation to what things were worth. The house visit was a big help and they even took the items away on the viewing day. Result at the auction exceeded expectations on a number of things. Would certainly consider using them again in the future if the need arises.

Approached Excalibur Auctions after a bereavement left me with a large and much loved collection gathered over servers decades. As I wanted these items to go to homes where they would be much appreciated and loved as much as by their former owner this seemed to be the best solution. Due to numbers Excalibur actually came to collect. Sent me details of auctions etc and I was aware throughout what, when and how they where to be sold. Explained costs involved for the auction process. Would definitely recommend to others with similar collections. Many thanks to them.

Brilliant auction. Very professional, quick bidding, fair on all fronts, auctioneer has a good sense of Humour and keeps the auction flowing and interesting. Wide selection of toys to bid on and great items. The commission is also fair and mostly more competitive than other auction houses. I sincerely hope the shipping prices are also fair have not received mine yet. I will definitely use Excalibur Auctions again !!!
