Amazing weddings DJ
We booked Exceed events through Mitton Hall for our wedding.
The process was smooth quick and easy to organise. The systems made choosing songs to play and what songs to avoid really easy.
We had an online meeting with both the exceed team and then with our DJ.
We explained exactly what we wanted and ran through the order of the day.
Our DJ, Johnny was excellent, and could not have been any better. Played all the right music at the perfect times, he was friendly, fun and made us feel really comfortable for our first dance, inviting our guests to join just when we had hoped!

We would not hesitate to recommend exceed to anyone requiring an events DJ, they made our day even more special!

Made our wedding day!
Everything was so easy with Exceed - from the first booking process to the wedding day. We also added a saxophonist on - amazing addition!
Special thanks to Damian - our DJ for the night. He was so lovely and made sure we both had the best time. Nothing was too much for him - even when we asked for some kids songs to be played early on.
Would highly recommend Exceed, we are so thankful to have shared our day with you.

Mike the DJ was absolutely superb
Mike the DJ was absolutely superb. He was great with communication before the event and the website to upload playlists before hand was a great idea.
Once the evening event started Mike read the room perfectly and played appropriate songs to keep the dancefloor filled mixing our playlist with some absolute belters.
Great night our legs were aching all the following day as we haven’t danced as much as this in years!

Amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had Wez as our DJ and host for our wedding day, and he was absolutely amazing from start to finish! In the lead-up to the wedding, he was great to work with — always checking in, getting to know our favourite songs (and our do-not-plays), and really understanding the kind of vibe we wanted for the day.
Having a host was one of the best decisions we made! Wez kept the energy and excitement going throughout the wedding breakfast with fun games that our guests absolutely loved — it really set the tone for the rest of the day. Then in the evening, he was an incredible DJ, reading the crowd perfectly and keeping the dance floor full all night with music that suited us perfectly.
We also had Exceed’s magic mirror, which our guests couldn’t get enough of, and the saxophone player, who was a massive hit — people are still talking about how amazing he was!
We honestly couldn’t recommend Wez and the Exceed team enough. They went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable!

Amazing company that provided us with all our bits for evening do the staff and the DJ were all super friendly made our day great! Would recommend them to anyone who’s thinking about getting married or having an event! The Photo Booth was such a hit with all our guests! Contact with the company was great from start to finish! Wez was fab and we had a phone call to talk through the song choices, first dance song and how the evening would look! We had a custom remix for our first dance and Wez sent over a few different mixes to make sure it was perfect for us! The whole experience with the Dj and the saxophone player was great, thanks again ☺️

Myself and my partner recently tied the…
Myself and my partner recently tied the knot at the Crow Wood, with Tom from Exceed as the DJ and also one of their saxophonists of whom we didn’t manage to catch his name, the reason we didn’t was due to the fact that both of them made the night absolutely unreal from start to finish and didn’t give us any opportunity to stop dancing!
Tom and I had a very brief conversation over the phone before the day, to which we told him we wanted a PARTY! His response was “I’ve got you, trust me” and boy did he! From start to finish the dance floor was filled, he set the scene very early on and didn’t let off at any point!
The saxophonist was absolutely amazing, dancing with the guests whilst belting out tunes with perfection! A huge talking point the next day from many a guest!
We had a vision of what we wanted the night to be, a huge party for everyone to let of some steam and dance the night away and there has always been a huge worry that it might not happen, these guys brought our dreams to reality and made it better than we could ever imagine!!
If you are looking for an event company for your wedding, birthday etc… look no further than these guys! Don’t consider anyone else, you will not be disappointed.
Guys thanks so much for making our day amazing and helping make memories we will never forget!

Fantastic DJ and company for a wedding
The whole experience was seamless from start to finish. You have regular contact with the company in the build up to the wedding and then a week before the DJ reaches out and you have an informal discussion on how the music will run which really helps take a worry off the bride and groom. We had Wes and he was fantastic! All the guests felt comfortable to request songs and we really felt the DJ incorporated songs we had suggested as well as ones which would get everyone moving which helped make sure that dance floor wasn’t empty. We had the pleasure of having Wes as our Host & Dj. He was amazing from the start up until the end guiding us with what we would expext with the wedding, planning the music choices with what would work well and also reassuring us throughout the process. We had some great calls with him on the lead up to the wedding and he suggested some engaging games to play during the wedding breakfast which ourselves and the guests loved and created an amazing atmosphere! He listened to the music we wanted and truly tailored to our preference (EDM). On the day he was super helpful and really friendly with the entire party, and everyone had great things to say about him making everyone feel comfortable and ensuring we all had a great time. He is a credit to exceed and a brilliant host and dj! Thank you so much!

Exceed were great to work with from start to finish. All added extras were easy to book on. We had 1-1 calls and contact with both dj and sax player, both of who were very experienced and provided great entertainment on the night. George our dj played a great range of songs ans tailored it to what our guests were liking.

Wedding event entertainment
Booked Exceed events for our wedding in late August, we requested Wez as our DJ/host for our event as we had seen him at a previous wedding. We also hired through Exceed the saxophone player and percussionist for the evening event. We hired the light up letters with our surname and finished it off with some classy up lights. From first contact with Exceed through to the big day the customer service was outstanding. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them highly.

Wez was our DJ with exceed event for our wedding and he was amazing. He communicated frequently prior to our wedding and was excellent when helping us manage our first dance - providing a short version of the song and following closely to end the music when we finished our dance. 10/10 experience!!!

Mike kept the vibes going all night. We gave him some genres to play and asked him to keep the energy up so people could dance all night which he achieved and more. Many compliments from the guests as well who enjoyed the vibes as much as we did

Mike was the perfect DJ for our wedding. We really appreciated how he listened to what music we liked (and more importantly didn’t like). He continued to check in with us and all our guests said how good he was afterwards. He kept the party going all night and the whole vibe was 10/10. He is a great guy and an awesome DJ, would highly recommend to anyone.

Damian was the DJ at our charity event…
Damian was the DJ at our charity event and was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and he was so helpful even sorting out the use of his microphone for a speech.
The booking was easy - it was all very seamless and I would highly recommend Exceed events. I will now never go anywhere else.
