I have been with express scripts for a very long time, only recently have I really had to deal with their customer service and website, which has turned out to be absolutely horrible.
Not only is the customer response times online ridiculously slow ( it takes them a week at the very least to get back to you) but speaking with people over the phone has been a joke.
I only got a representative who knew what they were talking about one time all the other times it has been people who cannot answer my questions, give me false information, don't transfer me to managers after requesting, or simply have disconnected me.
It's surprising how little the people who answer the phones in this company know. One person referred me to make an account online in order to pay for my medication, the website would not register my information so I reached out for technical help, I waited two weeks for correspondence through email, and calling did nothing since I was told to email for customer service.
I'm not sure how this website is being run but they really need to work on educating the representatives they hired for the job.
Additionally if you offer customer service through email it would be great if emails would actually be responded to in less than a week.
Overall dealing with their customer service has been so time-consuming and so extremely stressful. If you have the option not to use this website/ Company I would highly recommend going where a different option.
Especially now during the time of pandemic when these kind of services are highly needed they clearly fall short.
Shipping times are ridiculous
Terrible communication with customer. Ship times are long and not communicated in a timely manner. Confusing information on website personal account. I've had to call 10 times regarding 1 prescription. Ridiculous!!
Don’t use Express Scripts!
Don’t use Express Scripts. They used USPS to ship my medicine to me, and now the shipment is lost by USPS. Express Scripts won’t replace my medicine for 30 days. I will have to go without my doctor prescribed medicine for 3 weeks because they don’t care.
Do yourself a favor.... use a real pharmacy. These internet pharmacies don’t care about you or your medical needs.
Never had a good experience
Never had a good experience! Being on Medicare with Express-Script is a nightmare. The rules & regulations in place are not in the patients best interest. My doctor is my healthcare provider & knows what is best for my continuing good health & wellbeing. Getting a new prescription from my local pharmacy is my preference. Express-Scripts routinely denies them but will ship the prescription to me a few days later without notice. Also, if denied, the communication between the Express-Express, the my pharmacy, my doctor, & myself is non-exist. I have to find out a few days later the prescription was denied & not fill. I do not understand why being 65 years old has anything to with getting any prescription? If I were 64 years, 11 months, & 29 days there would no problem to receive my medications.
It is all about the money. They purchase their medication from pharmaceutical companies in Europe or Asia. Does the FDA or US government agencies keep a close eye on their manufacturing facilities?
If I could replace them, I kick Express-Script to the curb.
