Hi have used fancyplates.com for years and never had a problem. But unfortunately they have not answered my email this time. The phone number does not work either. 37 pounds has been paid and still no plates a week later. I used them as quality is normally 100%

I can only judge this company from my own experience.
I ordered on a Sunday, then was shocked to see it arrive through the post by Tuesday!

I’ve ordered many plates over the years, but never had such a smooth experience. The plate itself was also printed flawlessly.
10/10 from me.

**edit** Numberplate arrived 30 mins after I submitted a dispute with the card company. Still no response from Fancyplates though.

Used this company before without a problem, but this time has not been good. Ordered a front number plate and received a confirmation email and money taken from my account, then nothing. No response to emails and phone number doesn't work. They may well be on a very extended Christmas and New Year break, but nothing on the website and no out of office replies to emails.
Luckily I paid on credit card, so I should be able to get a chargeback. Not impressed though.

Happy to say that they have since got in touch and sent the order out to me.
Explained that they were extremely busy and were apologetic for the lack of communication

I ordered my plates 2 weeks ago and despite emailing them immediately after ordering for confirmation, I have heard nothing since.
I have since sent follow-up emails, contacted them via their webpage and now after trying to call their advertised number have found out that the number doesn't ring. I'll give this until the end of the week and then will contact my card provider to run this through as fraud.
Im suspicious of the good reviews seen on Trustpilot since my experience has been very different

After thinking an online order with another number plate supplier had failed, I tried Fancy Plates after great reviews on several car forums.

The plates arrived quickly and were well packaged. The plates from the other supplier unexpectedly also arrived the same day. The Fancy Plates items were much, much better quality, which was noticeable to someone who thought “a plate is just a plate”!

Overall, I was very happy with the service. As some other reviewers have noted, you don’t receive a shipment notification as per the order confirmation e-mail, but this isn’t the end of the world.

Great people to deal with: I've bought plates from them a number of times, their turn around time is amazing, they cross check if something's not clear (which is always a mistake I made) & the quality of their plates & their service is exceptional

Ordered & Paid for 19/7/2025 - , despite emails bouncing back undeliverable and phone number not going through - my plates arrived to IRL from the UK 3 weeks later - top quality and well packaged , thank you to Fancyplates.com

I received the plate but have been charged twice for only one transaction, the phone number does not connect and the email address bounces back, the contact via the site has not been answered. Hopefully this can be sorted...just got email refund being processed...thank you

FancyPlates replicated the original 1987 dealer plates on my Cossie Sierra.

Very impressed by their attention to detail and quality of plates.

Unlike other suppliers, no dust or bubbles, the blue print on rear yellow plate was actually blue.

Can't fault them, special word of thanks to Michael @ FP.

Rubbish, one plate was delivered faulty. They ignored emails for ages but did eventually send a replacement. I've not done the work to my car and come to fit the numberplates which have sat inside the house in their packing for a few months and the backing is bubbling, so the white/yellow background is all mottled. I'm fuming, they were expensive compared to other sellers, I thought I would have got a quality product but no, absolute garbage. I've got some photos but can't see how to add them here! Hopefully I can add them once my review is live.

Have never received my order, had any of my 5 emails answered or had a refund.
Don't waste your money.

AMMENDMENT!
The day after this review was posted Fancyplates miraculously contacted me saying they never got my emails (never mind I didn't get the order, and even though the emails were done on thier web site "Contact" page)
They made the plate and is now in my possestion, 6 weeks after placing the order.

Ordered probably 5 sets of plates now and they never disappoint, plates are always spot on to what I ask for, this time I specified an image as the bottom text of the plate and they got it done and I recieved the order within 18 hours of ordering. Only place I use for my fleet now. Thanks as always, Ed

SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered a set of plates online, then later that day my wife changed her mind. I requested a change to the order using the web contact form and by email. Yesterday I received the original order and was initially disappointed as the change had not been actioned, but then today a revised set turned up at NO additional cost! Awesome.

At last, I have found a supplier of quality plates!
I have had several plates from various other suppliers over the past few years for my family’s numerous cars, and not one plate was perfect - streaky letters/numbers and dust between the front and back were the main problems.
Fancyplates are apparently built using a 3 layer system, unlike cheaper laser printed plates, and it shows. I immediately noticed the strong depth of print colour and they had no dust or blemishes!
Hallelujah.

The product quality is fine, although in my case they sent the wrong plates and there is no way to contact them to resolve it. The phone line they provide on their website is either fake or never answered and the emails sent via the contact form are also ignored. There is essentially no customer service so if something does goes wrong you cannot communicate with them and there is no way to get your money back.

This is the 4th set of plates I've had now, absolutely brilliant quality, quick delivery and a reasonable price. It's good to have a supplier of pre 2001 font plates for originality purposes. Delivered the following day, too.

I’ve been using this company off and on for a number of years, and the service has always been excellent. I recently made a mistake on my number plate order so emailed them with the correct sizes, my revised order was delivered in two days. I cannot fault their service.

Very very impressed. Ordered my plates yesterday (4th Sept) and they arrived today, 5th September.

I found this site through a car forum, what attracted me was that I didn’t have to show documentation, the only reason for that is I’m still waiting for my V750 from the DVLA.

Cheaper than Halfords even with next day delivery, really nice quality and came with screws and tape.. very happy with the service!
