Whenever we come to Bowness on Windermere we always go to fatface because my wife loves fatface clothes. The reason for my 5 star review is that Zoe and her colleague with the brown hair (from Yorkshire) sorry i don't know her name, absolutely lovely girls, always make us feel welcome and always take time out to chat to us about what's new and help my wife choose the outfits (to my dismay) because it always cost me a fortune lol. But seriously they make us feel really welcome and nothing is too much trouble, keep up the good work. Fantastic ambassadors for fatface. They always recognise us and comment on my wife's hair cut which makes my wife feel special and that is what makes them special, it's not always about the sale it is about relationships, well done girls.

I always find the layout of the shop good, your clothes are a true size fit for me, I find the staff helpful

Today, whilst on my 2nd visit to Bowness this year, I visited FatFace again.
Emily & Zoe were so welcoming and extremely helpful in assisting me with what I was looking for. I really dont like shopping but they made the whole experience just fabulous.

We stayed inBowness on Windermere 11th July 2025. No visit is complete without a browse at one of our favourite shops FatFace. Emily &Maisy we’re so welcoming nothing was too much trouble. My husband bought a shirt which he wanted to wear straight away as he loved it so much but the collar was a little crumpled. Emily immediately offered to whip it upstairs and steam it . I also bought a lovely summer skirt. First class service with a smile they made our day. Be proud of yourselves Emily & Maisy you left a lasting impression on us and we will be back. The store is also beautifully presented. It is clear Emily & Maisy take great pride in the store and customer satisfaction going above and beyond.

We recently visited Windermere shop, Leon and Zoe gave excellent customer service and extra shout out the dogs loved their treats.

Friendly and helpful staff. Well set out displays with good choice of styles and colours, for women in particular. Important to have a shop like this in the village.

Just been into Fat Face Bowness and purchased a Sussex Heritage Coat in brown cotton with a lovely check lining, a beautiful country style. Staff were so friendly and helpful, we’ll be visiting again soon.

Fat Face items are such great quality materials and finish every time.

There was multiple choice of shirts the staff were brilliant

The staff are so helpful and friendly at the Bowness store. They provided some useful tips for when I brought a Christmas jumper and even recommended me to go ‘tall’ because I’m over 6ft! They also ensured my shoes I ordered online fitted properly and ensured we got all our shopping secured and protected as it was snowing. Overall, such brilliant service from the team there.
