Ashes/ photo memorial charm

After careful consideration as to what company to use, I couldn’t be happier! Me and my sister wanted to get my mum a charm with a picture/ and our nans ashes (her mum) for her 50th birthday. The charm is beautiful, packaged lovely and the service was amazing, not to mention compared so some companies we looked into, the price was very reasonable. We are so happy with my mums charm that both myself and my sister are going to get one so all 3 of us have one to remember our Nan! My mum was over the moon and put the charm straight onto her Pandora bracelet. I love that any leftover resin with the ashes in for put into a little glass jar, basically a second memorial gift. Thanks to all at featherlings. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a memorial piece!

Clearly have no idea what they are doing!! Ongoing since May "22

when the necklaces came i was initially pleased with them. Then they started to fade and lose colour. I contacted them, they said they had changed the chemicals they use and would sort them out. I sent them back and they cleaned them. A few months on they have faded again, and the photo of my son has blurred so badly i can no longer see him clearly. Their reply to my email was shocking. It must be something I am doing apparently, ( must be something my daughter is doing too, as hers is the same) even though the photo is sealed under resin which they put in place. I don't swim, I don't work with chemicals. I wonder if it was one of their children's ashes forever cast in jewellery would they be so dismissive? I would wait a few months before leaving a review, as i say, mine was lovely when it came!! or better still, buy from a more reputable company. This one is awful and doesnt care one bit about the feelings and the deep distress of their customers!! ordered on 19/5/22 first one came quickly, waited until 6/6 for the second one, to be told there was a problem with the photo, they then sent that one out a week or two after that, one returned on 14/9/22. second on 28/10 . it is now 20/7/23 and they have gone from bad to worse. Also, there is a visible fingerprint on one of them. Very poor. Cant even request a refund because my sons ashes are in there for good. I am seeking legal advice.

Customer service nil. Ordered charm for my sons ashes waited over a week for the packages to send my sons ashes in, complained to the company they didn’t like my email so cancelled the order like it was nothing. We are grieving parents wanting some sort of empathy but all we got was we didn’t like the wording of your email. Absolutely disgusting please don’t use this company they couldn’t care less and I agree the reviews MUST BE FAKE!! Think you will find I ordered on the Sunday asked on the Monday if I had ordered a kit which you said I had then my Friday I still hadn’t received the packages I have all the emails to prove this again you lie!!! Just sent the proof that ordered on the Sunday will send over emails I’d needs be

It is very rare for us to have to do this, but on this occasion we just had too.

You placed your order on a Saturday, and by Monday were emailing to say you were appalled at our service for not delivering the complimentary postal kit next day (bearing in mind that was a sunday!). We emailed to explain that it is not next day, and would be 1 or 2 working days, along with double checking your delivery address.

The way you addressed my staff, along with accusing them of lying about sending out a postal kit, and emailing my staff to say they have no idea what grief is like is simply not acceptable.

99.9% of people understand that an order placed on a Saturday will be processed on a Monday, and if Royal Mail are slow, or something goes wrong.. our customers are always so lovely, they understand it's not our fault. They are respectable and we always get any issues sorted quickly.

But on this occasion, I am simply not going to accept someone talking to us in the way you did. Therefore, took the very rare decision to actually cancel your order and refund you in full. A pleasant transaction where we can make something unique for someone is more important to us than making money.

We have used the same review systems since 2017.

Highly recommend

I received my order today. A charm made from my dogs ashes. The communication from start to finish was amazing and I've now got a piece of her to carry with me forever. Cannot reccomend this company enough

Exceptional service. I ordered some locket photos which got lost in the post twice during the recent postal strikes. The company did their utmost to get them to me in time for Christmas. Highly recommend this company.

Excellent service

Having recently lost my dog, I wanted something I could keep with me always. I ordered a charm with his ashes and a picture on the back. I received it a few days ago and I am absolutely delighted with it. Before it was sent out, I was sent a proof of the picture. When it arrived it was packaged really well. Customer service was brilliant. From ordering to getting it back took about 2 weeks. I will definitely be using again. Thank you

Caring and compassionate

I have two pieces of memorial jewellery from this company. With the first piece, I was very specific on the colour I wanted. It had to be just right. My little dogs ashes were treated with compassion and respect. It was incredibly emotional receiving the finished piece, but it brings me so much comfort. A year later, I lost my 15 year old cat, and once again, wanted a memorial piece. Matt made sure it was just perfect, and have now have Milo with me forever. A wonderful, friendly and caring company 💚

Happy with photos

I need photos to put in a locket for my daughter's wedding. Annalise offers advice about locket photos including "If you are unsure, you can send us your photos first and we will be happy to help advise." I sent photos 5 days ago and have heard nothing from them in response. Disappointed.

Edited to add - I contacted Matt following his response. He was very helpful and went above and beyond to assist. I now have the locket photos I need and am very happy with them. Rating amended accordingly.
