UPDATE/EDIT am editing this review to reflect the prompt message from Customer Service to say the issue may be with lightbulb (which I did not purchase with lamps), so I will see if a change of bulb makes a difference. So impressed by their service. And again, these lamps are stunning (hum or no hum!)

Have you contacted our customer team in the relation to the 'hum noise’ when the lamps are lit? We understand how frustrating that can be.
When reviewing your order, it came to my attention that you haven’t bought a light bulb from us. Because these table lamps are mains operated and no transformers in the fitting, the humming could be caused by different factors. The most common one is the light bulbs. Sometimes the quality of the light bulb could cause this, or if these are maybe connected to a dimmer switch, the bulb could hum if not compatible.
Please feel free to contact us to help you resolve this if necessary.

I got 2 lovely touch lamps at a fair price and they arrived so well packaged that they could have survived being dropped from an aeroplane!

I ordered 3 light bulbs and they were delivered ahead of schedule by a friendly driver and they threw in a 4th lightbulb at no extra cost. Would highly recommend.
