Disgraceful company

A third review for this absolutely shocking company who have pointed their customers in the direction of a new reviewing platform, where reviews are only obtained by an invitation link.

This company has still failed to pay numerous drivers for their work, with outstanding payments from over 6 months ago. They have also removed themselves from Facebook.

They have also failed to update on outstanding payments, whilst still taking business from new customers.

Take note that almost every recent review has been responded to with the same message, copied and pasted!

Legal proceedings are being sought against this company!

They don’t pay drivers

They don’t pay drivers . I have done a jobs for them for the value of £550 and they have not paid and refuse to pay.

I would like to add, it has been 3 months. No update regarding when I’d be paid.

The job was given to me based of a lie too. Jack In specific lied to me. The job was given and de allocated around 6 times from other drivers before I took it on. Now I realise drivers were not willing to take it on as they weren’t paying drivers. At the time he lied and promised me the money will be paid in on the 31st . Later changing it to we don’t have the money. Clearly someone decided to enjoy a berth nice Christmas of my labour . Fuel and van paid by me !!!!
On the 27th Feb , (yesterday) I had taken on a job from them - but was paid direct from customer. When I called and asked about my prev money - the job was immediately de allocated from myself an my calls ignored. The reply to this is a copy and paste for public appearance.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam, I worked for them for years and they were amazing but soon as they do they started taking jobs and not paying drivers, I have been chasing an invoice for 87 days and they are yet to pay. I have raised this further and moving forward with legal action. Up until Megan and Sam worked for them they would pay but after that they just started scamming drivers and customers alike as they would not pay drivers nor refund customers for non cancelled jobs

Still waiting to be paid!

As a Removals Company who have done some work for FMMAV, our last job was on 20th October 2025. We STILL have not been paid over 3 months later. We keep getting the same email back stating that they are 'working on it' and they will update us. It just isn't good enough. They should never have allowed customers book their service if they knew they couldn't pay the companies. It is appaling and we are awaiting legal advice about this.

Bad Experience

I worked for FMMV as a direct customer service employee (not a self employed driver), since May 2025 we began receiving payments late/in part - this ultimately became the reason I resigned, as they had ZERO decency in letting us know beforehand that this would be the case, we would have to wait until after payday and then somehow pluck up the courage to ask them when we would be paid days later. The stress of this month to month not knowing if we could pay our bills, and if you’ve been in this position before you know how awkward it is having to ask your boss that you see on a daily basis for payment.

I am writing this now because they have completely ignored me for nearly 16 weeks for the simply request of my payslips and P45, which is their legal duty and leaving reviews for the public to see is likely the only way I will get a response.

There is so much more to this that I could say, but for now I will leave it at this. Please provide me with what I have requested.

The service was so bad as they…

The service was so bad as they cancelled the booking not even contacting near to the booking time. When asking for deposit refund, it is now >2weeks which should normally 5-10 days to get refund. I have escalated it, the said it has been reported to related team but no response. Called again after 2weeks- the same saying that it will be reported to higher boss, which is ridiculous. Not recommend it. Give my refund back. He said he will send the confirmation update for it which still not happen. So bad service.

I used find my van and man for the first time and never again. The service was disgusting, I had to do the move myself even though I paid for two men. £200 later my move was a disaster - Use my van and man at your own peril

I have worked with FindMyManAndVan for…

I have worked with FindMyManAndVan for over 2.5 years and always trusted this company. Unfortunately, that trust was broken.

I completed jobs in August and early September 2025, but £680 has never been paid, despite their policy stating payment within 14 days. It is now December.

They stopped responding to my calls and messages, yet they continue offering new jobs and taking money from customers while not paying drivers.

This is unacceptable behaviour.
Drivers and subcontractors should be very careful before working with this company.

We provided several removal services…

We provided several removal services for Find My Man With A Van, however, since July we have not received the payments owed to us. We have sent multiple emails and made numerous phone calls, but unfortunately we have never received a clear response or any resolution.

When we call, staff members say they do not have access to the finance department and that the issue will be passed on, but no one ever gets back to us. We have also requested direct contact with a manager or someone responsible for payments, which has never been provided.

We are a family-run business and rely on these payments to cover our bills and support our children. It is extremely frustrating to have to chase payment for work that was properly completed.

We take our work seriously and always meet our responsibilities, but the ongoing lack of communication and non-payment makes this partnership unworkable. We hope the company reviews this situation and settles the outstanding amounts as soon as possible.

As someone who has had a challenging…

As someone who has had a challenging life, needed a service to get my family's things to our new home. Because of the man with the van had an issue of our possessions smelling, I feel poverty shamed. I can't help our possessions were in a state, but it's all we had. Citing breaking terms and conditions, left me with my possessions and the company didn't refund deposit. I feel let down, poverty shamed, and even poorer. Will never recommend.

Poor Service

Booked a long distance move with nearly 2 months notice. On the day, I received a text informing me that my van has been cancelled. No phone call or apologies. Trying to get through to the company was nearly impossible, and there wasn't any help or information available when I finally did. Promises of calls back never happened, and I had to chase them up about it all. Highly unprofessional and I do not recommend using them at all.

Edit: it has since been confirmed by the original driver that he cancelled as this company only offered 7 hours pay for a 16 hour job, a fact they only made clear to him the day of the booking.
It has now also been confirmed that the driver who actually completed the job hasn't even been paid by these scam artists. Legal action is pending.

As explained in our email correspondence, your original service provider unfortunately cancelled at 10:00AM on the morning of your move — the start of your booked arrival window.

Our team immediately began sourcing an alternative provider and notified you by text at 10:13AM to ensure you received an update quickly and clearly while we continued making arrangements.

A replacement service provider was confirmed and offered for the same time the following day, and this was accepted. We appreciate that contacting our office was difficult during this time, as our staff were engaged in urgent calls to secure an alternative for you as quickly as possible.

While we regret the inconvenience caused by the last-minute cancellation, we did act promptly in line with our terms to arrange a suitable alternative.

The service provider you have mentioned has also received payment and one of them appears to have given you some factually incorrect information regarding the number of hours contained in a booking, how these hours are booked and how they are calculated.
This is made very clear to the service providers before they accept any bookings, so it is regrettable that they have misinformed you.

The service providers assign themselves to bookings, this is not done by our team, so while we would have been happy to explain this process to all parties if there were any concerns before the booking took place, sadly no concerns were raised and it appears some assumptions may have arisen before we were given the chance to ensure everyone understands.

Your feedback has been noted and will be used to improve how we communicate with customers in similar situations.
