Excellent Service - Used Many times
FindTransfers is an excellent service, I've used them multiple times now and every experience has been good. They're always much cheaper than transfers being sold to you by tour operators and the hotels direct themselves. Some holidays, I've received no quotes, but when we've got there the taxi rates have been so low and in plentiful supply, you can see why companies wouldn't be bothered to tie themselves in. So if you don't get any quotes, don't despair its probably doing you a favour. They are probably best suited to trips of over 20 minutes. Its so simple, you put in your requirements, the quotes come through, you pick one and book. I've never had to pay in advance, we just pay the driver for each part of the journey. Always really smooth.

You are absolutely correct that it is often not worth booking a transfer for a very short journey from the airport, unless there is a big group of you or you have lots of luggage that would not fit in a normal taxi. Our system works much better for longer journeys, when you want child seats, when you have lots of luggage or when you are more than 4 people.

Superb service and so easy to use.
I used Find Transfers to arrange transport for a family party of 8 people from Ibiza Airport to a TUI resort, which was about a 35 minute journey, with a return to the airport 6 days later. I was very quickly presented with several quotes from local companies and chose one from Sanderbus. They offered a return journey in a very modern 12 seater, air conditioned minibus for 160 euros, which was very reasonable. When we arrived at the airport in Ibiza the driver was waiting for us in the arrival hall, even though we’d had quite a delay with our baggage. The driver was very friendly and took us a short walk to the vehicle and loaded our luggage into it. The vehicle was immaculate and very comfortable. Pick up and return was prompt and the whole experience was pleasant and easy. I highly recommend Find Transfers, they provide a superb free service in finding your holiday transport.

No working emergency contact, missed flight
I booked a 5:30 AM airport transfer for an airport located about 80 km away. A few hours before pickup, my hotel address changed, so I immediately tried to contact the transfer company using the emergency phone number and email provided by FindTransfers.com. No one answered.
At the scheduled pickup time, I called the driver/emergency number many times, but again no one answered. I had provided my phone number when booking, but no one contacted me either.
At that early hour there were no taxis available, only buses requiring a change. As a result, I arrived late at the airport, missed my flight, lost my ticket, and had to buy a new one.
The most important issue is that the emergency and driver contact numbers were not functional in practice. For an airport transfer at a fixed time, this is unacceptable.

I am very sorry to hear about the problem you had with Venice Black Car.
Venice Black Car are responsible for providing you with their phone numbers and email address. They enter these details in to our system and we pass them on to you exactly as they have been entered.
As soon as you make a booking via our system, we also pass your email address and phone number to Venice Black Car exactly as you entered it at the time of booking so they had this information available to them.
This is therefore the fault of Venice Black Car who simply did not answer their phone or emails and not a FindTransfers system error. As soon as they confirm your booking, they are solely responsible for your transport and you should be able to communicate with them directly.
We are sorry that Venice Black Car let you down and we would urge you to leave ratings and reviews for them on Google and Tripadvisor.

Find Transfers communication was great
Find Transfers communication was excellent. We had a WhatsApp the day before we travelled from the driver with his name, and confirmation of what time he'd arrive ("30 mins after the plane landed as passport control is slow"). He wasn't wrong. Verona airport has just 3 automated machines for checking passports, then 2 officers to check and stamp your passport. Having queued for ages, only to be told UK passports don't need stamping, we were delighted to see our driver's smiling face.

We reserved the company Nice Taxis …
We reserved the company Nice Taxis thru FindTransfers, Nice Taxis does transfers all over Europe, but we had to cancel our reservation 29 hours before the service to be provided, from Paris Train Terminal when our train from Paris to Lourdes, France was canceled due to cancellation of all transportation and trains to the region due to storms and landslide. We communicated with them immediately and constantly but unforturnate we did not recieve a refund not even partial. They offered to come an pick up us (11 peope) in Paris and take us to Barcelona for more than double the price. They said they had two Vans ready for us from Barcelona already, but I assumed that if they do this type of service all over Europe, they will have access to Vehecles all over the region. We are very dissappointed with this company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and I am sorry that you are not happy with your experience.
The local transfer companies that use our system are independent from FindTransfers and they all have their own cancellation policies. When you made this booking via our system it was made clear that the booking could be cancelled with a full refund up to 72 hours in advance. After this time the booking would be non-refundable. As you say, you cancelled the booking with 29 hours notice and so it was not refunded.
We understand that the cause of the cancellation was out of your hands and we asked if Nice Taxi Transfers would make an exception to their stated policy. Unfortunately as they had reserved 2 vehicles and drivers for your booking and were highly unlikely to find any new business at such short notice, they refused.
Travel insurance is recommended for all overseas trips and provides financial protection against unexpected, costly, and disruptive events while traveling and we would refer you to your insurance company to cover the costs you incurred due to the unforeseen cancellation of your train to Lourdes.
Nice Taxi Transfers are based in Barcelona. The price that they offered you for a transfer from Paris to Barcelona would have been the same whether the vehicles are based in Paris or Barcelona or anywhere in between because the drivers and vehicles would have to return to their home location after dropping you off. The price would have been more expensive than your original booking because Lourdes to Barcelona is 430km and 5.5 hours driving time and Paris to Barcelona is over 1,000km and 11.5 hours driving time.

Good company to find deals but make sure you verify the company you end up choosing for your transfer!
FindTransfers is a good website but make sure you verify the company you choose from their search.
I chose the cheapest (obviously!!!) Speedbird Transfers and the car never showed up!!!
Booked car to go to Gatwick airport at 4:45am and no one came and customer service didn’t answer, made us later for our flight and we ended up paying last minute for a black cab!!!
I originally gave Find Transfers 1 star as I did not realise this but when they contacted me and replied to this initial review I changed my rating to 4 stars as they showed they care and they are helping me get my deposit refund back from Speedbird Transfers
