From design to install their team was absolutely fantastic!!

The technicians were timely, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. They painted the fireboxes and then installed the gas logs easily, replaced the batteries in the gas logs in our other fireplace and then gave us a very good overview of the new gas logs. Everything was done very neatly as well.

Salesperson very knowledgeable, follow up questions answered timely, product arrived early. Installers on time, considerate of house, did work efficiently and gave us necessary instructions. Follow up questions via phone timely. Good experience.

Second time in 2 years that additional parts needed to be replaced. It took months to get first appointment and the an additional 3 months after the part was received Finally fireplace was fixed and the person that came out was professional and cleaned the wor area. Problem was with setting up the 2 service calls, winter was almost over and we were not able to use the fireplace until the end of February

This company is THE BEST! They are experienced, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. They were happy to send a technician wearing a respirator, as I am immunocompromised. He did an excellent job and was very personable. The entire experience with The Fireplace and Chimney Authority was delightful, from my initial call to them, through the completion of the job. I would never even consider using any other fireplace company.

I really enjoyed our interactions from the get go with the contact at the F&CA. Knowledgeable, funny, knew what I needed— what’s not to like? The install job wasn’t initiated correctly. We have a double sided fireplace and wires are exposed all over the backside - which is our LR. I called and they said they would fix it— planned to bring extra coal/rock to build it up and then order a box to go around the wires to conceal it and make it look more realistic. Our install was just over a month ago and still haven’t come back to fix this. They also decided to order a larger grate for the wood because our fireplace is larger than initially thought , but didn’t order a larger pan to go under neath the grate. So they brought the wrong size pan and larger grate and it looks very faux- very unrealistic. We spent 2k on this supposed upgrade and it’s def not an improvement and I’m still waiting to have them come out and fix these three things. I would not recommend. Btw i’ve never written a neg review before until now.

The tech came to clean our Mendota fireplace insert. He worked efficiently and left no mess. It was like he was never here but our fireplace is working more effectively.

What a great experience, especially working with Oz. He walked us through all of the options that made sense for us, shared critical safety information that we were unaware of, and led us to a new fireplace that we just love!
