Very poor company to deal with
Purchased a Simpson carbon helmet from their website which showed as in stock at the time for £952. They emailed me the next morning to say they didn't have it in stock and was I ok to wait 2 weeks? I replied that I was not alright with that (I needed it ASAP) and after days of no reply, and saying I would do a chargeback, they replied and marked it as refunded on their website (got a notification).
Fast forward until 11th March, still no refund. I emailed them, no reply. I phoned them and had a strange conversation with someone who claimed she didn't really know anything and would pass the message on. Later realised it was the same person who had been dealing with my messages from the start, very strange.
They then say the refund has been sent via PayPal and send me a screenshot showing it was only sent on 11th (after my emails asking what's going on as it had been nearly 2 weeks).
Don't spend your money with this company, extremely unprofessional, don't answer their emails, don't answer their phone, too laid back for their own good.
They have no terms or conditions, no privacy policy, no cookie consent. Their returns page just says you have to clear it with them first (good luck with that).
They have various operating names and domains (simpsonracing.co.uk which no longer works), they don't show their real company name, their VAT number they show on the site doesn't exist on HMRC platform if checked, there's something very odd about their whole setup.
