Good basic data room but lacks some items such as limited notifications and sending requests.

Good 14 day trial. Nowhere near good or efficient enough to command the monthly price point when other competitors have better data rooms, functionality and protection

The system simply worked although have my email so darkly plastered over the data did obscure it a little.

Customer service itself is great but many of the emails from you go to investors’ spam boxes and low priority boxes and you don’t allow sending a link. So in some ways it’s less effective than free solutions involving Google sheets etc

FirmRoom is easy to manage and one of the best VDRs in the market! What I really like is their permission settings and centralized storage.

Firmroom is easy to navigate and a sufficient document sharing tool.

It's been easy to use and easy to bring in just the new files that were uploaded into the VDR.

Great platform

The VDR was initially frustratingly slow, but got continually better over time (the deal lasted over a year).
The real problem was the service and support; we had two major problems with Firmroom.
(i) We had two deals simultaneously with Firmroom and one time, one client took more than 10 (ten) days to pay the VDR provider. Firmroom adopted a gangster attitude and decided to shut down both VDRs. This is ridiculous because both our deals had nothing to do with each other. Our clients were responsible for payment of their respective VDRs, not us, but Firmroom decided to pressure us -the advisor- by shutting down its service to ALL our clients. This shutdown lasted until the other client paid the invoice. It was extremely unprofessional and almost cost us (and our other client) deal.
(ii) To close the deal, our client required pendrives as back-up of the VDR (which is standard). Even though Firmroom was notified with more than a month of time, they were incapable of getting the pendrives to us (3 months after the request they still haven't arrived, they have been 'in route' for almost 2 months, the deal is closed by now). In the end we had to download a special software and encrypt the pendrives ourselves. Pathetic.

Going forward, we will NEVER recommend Firmroom to a client.

FirmRoom truly made our lives easier. Typically used FirmRoom software to run and manage documents. We analyzed the market and this particular product against their key competitors like Ideals, Datasite and Intralinks, and found FirmRoom to offer comparable product features at competitive pricing. The interface is extremely intuitive and we love it. Overall 10/10 with a competitive price and an easy-to-use platform.

There should be a commenting feature on documents. Value for money is poor compared to what is available now as alternatives in the market.
