First Aid and CPR courses were really interesting and most importantly I learnt practically how to do those properly ! Anyone should learn those skills ( you never know when need will arise) and First aid Pro would be great place to learn those!

The class was well run, with an experienced teacher leading the way. She made sure everyone was up to speed and understood the tasks and the theory behind them.

The first aid training was really good. The instructor was very friendly and helpful, which made the session enjoyable and easy to understand. I learned a lot and felt comfortable asking questions.

Beware - this company charges a $10 fee to change your course dates (even if it is due to work commitments) and a $40 cancellation fee. You have to give them, your card details including cvv over the phone - they don't have any other payment method which does not sound ethical, including refusal when I told them I will pay at their office.

I did my first aid yesterday! The trainer was rude, condescending and abrupt. Her style training was not great! She went through the session and suddenly put a question on the spot and expected to everyone to know. She talked to the participants like we are stupid! Then made some derogatory remarks towards an Indian saying he couldn’t speak and talk English. I was so disgusted.
I have done my first aid through St John’s and they were so professional and enjoyable!

The trainer Jarrad was great. Leant alot at this first aid course Southport. The group was not to large the space was nice, and the training was engaging. Will use again!

I completed the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course with First Aid Pro on Monday, 28th July 2025. The course was well-structured and ran to time, which I appreciated. The trainer delivered the content clearly, with a good balance between theory and hands-on practice.

Practical scenarios were realistic without feeling overwhelming, and the equipment provided was clean and in good condition. I particularly liked that there was a strong emphasis on confidence in real-life situations, not just ticking boxes for assessment.

Admin and enrolment were straightforward, and all communications leading up to the day were clear. The venue was tidy and easy to access.

If you’re looking to get certified efficiently without compromising on quality, I’d recommend First Aid Pro.

I booked twice to do my first aid course. The first one they cancelled it at 4:30pm the day before and said they would call to reschedule and I did not receive a call for a week so I had to reschedule it myself. Then myself along with approx 10 other people arrived to do the course and the instructor did not show up. No notifications stating there was a cancellation were sent out until 45mins after the course started. The employees at the place it was supposed to be held at suggested we should leave as this is not the first time it has happened.

I actually turned down an employer who offered to pay for me to train with FAP and paid for a competitor out of my own pocket instead.
I can't believe how awful these reviews are (but... also, I can?). I've heard awful things about management in this organisation (they seemed to kick it up a notch in 2024), so I'm not surprised that they offer such lacklustre customer service.
I have since done a First Aid course with a competitor (St John) who were brilliant. It felt way more aligned with my values, very generous and well-resourced. It really has demonstrated to me how much First Aid Pro lacks, and I will not take a course with them again.
I don't typically leave reviews like this unless I really feel strongly that other people would benefit from it. Heed the reviews!

This training is so poor I cant believe it has been accredited and continues to operate.
Firstly you need to study and complete a test with results of 100%. There is absolutely no indication how long this study component will take to complete. I spent hours doing it but it could take you 8hrs or more. Then the test in which you must get 100% has numerous answers that are incorrect or out of date. You cant get them correct. Whats more the test asks questions that bear no relevance to Medication Administration whatsoever! Ie - questions regarding OHS regulations??? I have been doing Medication Administration Training for over 35years and i have never had a worse experience. Further more I had to travel from Regional Victoria to Melbourne to complete the "Practical Component" - which was, quite frankly a complete waste of time. Nothing learnt - nothing practical about it!
What worries me is there are people there who have never given medication before and wont know that this training is appalling.
