Best option if you're serious about becoming a personal trainer

What a load of bullshit. I did their pregnancy course and it was crap. Got sucked in again and did their Programming Essentials Package $497!!!!
I learned NOTHING. Adults, kids, adolescents, older adults and pregnancy. Not a single exercise was shown. The teachers just rambled on. Waste of time, effort and money. This crook mob will never have my money again!!!!!

I did my cert 3 + 4 with afa in 2015 and have nothing but positive things to say since. Owning my own business I have referred many people to start their PT certs with afa and they too have only good things to say. Communication is fast and customer service is great and friendly and knowledge is vast. Range of courses to do are amazing and lecturers are very well chosen. Cannot recommend more and will only recommend AFA for any fitness studies! Mieke

I do my studies online the course is set up very easy to follow great demonstration videos and all the trainers are easy to follow. Student Support are really helpful and get back to me fast.

I am doing cert 3 and 4 in fitness with Australian fitness academy and i am really happy with the courses. Very informative and also they are very helpful with the assessments and all.

Great in person experience with the teachers on campus, making things very hands on and engaging, rather than just sitting in the class room all day. Sessions were made fun and we got to really get creative, whilst learning from the teachers' examples!!

The option to study online provided by AFA is fantastic when you work full time, live regionally and have multiple other life commitments.

I really enjoy that all material is available to me via videos. This is my preferred way to learn and intake new information so I’m grateful for that. Student support has been great when I’ve needed it, very responsive, polite and helpful

Most importantly when I first entered the fitness industry after doing my cert 3 and cert 4 I felt as tho I was not only prepared for everything I needed to be prepared for BUT I felt as though I was miles ahead in terms of knowledge then most of my coworkers!

I highly recommend AFA and I constantly recommend them to clients who are not only interested in becoming a PT but clients who just want to learn more about what they can do!

The AFA experience was outstanding from start to finish. The in-person learning for Certificate IV in Fitness was highly enjoyable! With access to a fully equipped gym, we practiced teaching techniques alongside expert supportive teachers and our peers. The case studies, work placement and resources provided excellent exposure to the fitness industry. I feel confident and career-ready and proud to say I studied at Australia Fitness Academy.

Hi my name is Martina and AFA is helping me in making one of my dreams becoming reality: working as a well informed and skilled Fitness Instructor. I have always find difficult how to study in the proper way, also because it is not easy when you are working at the same time! The online course I am following right now is so interesting and accurate that I dont even have to force myself in finding time to keep on going with my studies. It is easy to listen and to understand ( I am in Australia with a Visa and my first languege is not english so I really mean what I am saying!). Thank You guys for the well organized opportunity You give us to make the difference in somebody elses's life!

As someone living in regional Queensland, it wasn't possible for me to join courses where all the work is done face to face over a few weekends. AFAs online mode made it possible for me to study my Cert III without having to travel away. I was able to find a local venue to complete my practical components and used the video-based submissions to get the assessments done. The course content is clearly laid out with plenty of resources, plus feedback from the course staff to help out when you need some extra guidance. Would recommend this for anyone who needs the distance education option.

The teachers are really welcoming, supportive, and are very knowledgeable and were able to assist me in every way possible way in regards to finishing my course face-to-face. It was a great environment to study at.

Although I found it challenging sometimes to study online, it was a necessity as I lived in a remote area.
I always found the support team very quick to respond to my queries and very human an understanding about any struggles I had. Via email or on the phone I felt very supported and understood.
I also found the delivery of the course information great. Both video presentations and workbooks. Then the additional pos cast and webinars gave us so many ways to consume the information.
I would recommend AFA to anyone who wants to study online.

Australian fitness academy is a great place to learn Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness. The Instructors made the course a fun learning environment. Great facility and culture.
