scammers trying to take £59.99 from my bank account.
disgusting! paying for parking and got scammed by these people!
Would give no stars. Thought I was paying for parking and scammed for £59.99. Had to cancel debut card and order new one. How do people get away with thus.
Thought i was paying for parking via an app but looks like the website got redirected to these scammers. Charged £59.99, informed credit card company who have now blocked but be aware these people have your details so cancelling your card and getting a replacement is probably the safest option. Got no emails from the company to confirm i had signed up for anything and attempts to log in and reset password both failed.
I have no idea how Fitterstart.com got my details but I woke to a couple of emails from them saying I had signed up & was on a 1 day free trial. When I looked into somehow they had all my banking details and personal information.
No idea how! I’ve cancelled it, blocked the card & hope that’s the end of that.
Scammers!
I needed to download a parking payment app in a remote area of the English Lake District, nr Grasmere. It was troublesome, downloading. The next day I had a call from my bank advising that this organisation has made a number of attempts to charge £59.99 to my credit card. This required a restriction of my card to chip and pin only, then cancellation of the card. Quite an inconvenience. This organisation has also somehow obtained my email address, and has been sending 'limited time' special offers'. The bank seemed well aware of this organisation's attempts to defraud, and indicated that its systems are programmed to stop its attempts.
pure scammers - doing an on-line order for football tickets somehow this lot got my bank details; despite immediate cancellation was charged 25.99GBP under a different guise of the same scam company
Hello, I was paying to use a carpark in the countryside and I was charged £1.00 from fitter start and then charged £3.10 to use the carpark. I have no issues with using tte carpark as my mum and I were more than an hour. When I got WiFi I found I was subscribed to fitter start and being charged £59 per month. I have since unsubscribed. So hopefully not charged.
I was tricked into signing up to this company while I was activating a firestick. A message came up requesting £1. I thought it was amazon and fell for it. Shortly after I got emails from a company called Healthlines and one called Fitterstart saying I would be charged £59.99 per month unless I unsubscribed before the 1 day trial period. I contacted my bank first to block the direct debit that I had not agreed to. Then I went on to the Fitterstart website to cancel and request a refund of my £1 I had unwittingly paid, and instruct them not to attempt to remove any money from my account. I was reluctant to go onto their website at all but direct debit banking rules often favour companies who have hidden the direct debit info in their Terms and Conditions and blame the customer for not reading the T & C's. I'm not even aware of seeing anything as I thought I was communicating with Amazon. I will report back here tomorrow.
