The team has been incredibly helpful and professional. Tommy Wilson from the Edinburgh team has been very patient to answer to my inquiries and willing to go the extra mile to keep me informed when we encountered an issue regarding delivery beyond the company's control.

I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a serious storage company.

Here is a list of what went wrong in chronological order...
1. I made it clear from the start that I am providing my own boxes. In the email, I was told that it was perfectly fine and that I should not have any problems. When the driver arrived, he seemed shocked because he was told I only had one miscellaneous item and not other boxes. Then, I had to wait for another hour and a half for the driver to empty the van and return for my boxes.
2. I was never told (in any contract, invoice or quota) how much I would pay for these self-provided boxes. On the website, it only said for student storage, £1.50 per box per week. Apparently, my boxes were much bigger than they were expecting (I'm not sure how you are supposed to move house in tiny boxes + they never sent any measurements, not even after I explicitly required them, on how they charge for certain box sizes), so I ended up paying more than double than what was initially expected. To top this, they refused to deliver my items unless I paid the astronomical sum they required, which I did after all because I needed my boxes.
3. They flat-out lied about the weight of the miscellaneous item: a packed piano (on which the weight is literally written on the box itself by the manufacturer!!!!) was estimated at over 25kg, even though it is exactly 15kg, adding an extra £1 per week.
4. In their storage time, they included weekends and delivery/collection days, adding an extra week to my invoice.

In conclusion, expect to pay at least twice as much as you thought with this company if, for whatever reason, you still decide to use them.

Used Student Storage for three months.

The delivery of empty boxes and the pickup of full boxes are awesome, but the delivery is a disaster. However, they require a 14-day advance booking for any delivery that they do not speak about until selecting the delivery date of the returns request form. If they could not make a delivery on a specific date, they still allow you to select it on the website and do not provide any feedback until calling them to ask why items are not delivered. Very very slow email responding speed, ranging from 4 days to no reply at all, while the calls about the delivery are also...hmmm. Moreover, thay do not provide full details regarding how they charge and would quietly collect what they believe are outstanding fees the day before delivery without any SMS, email or mail and most importantly, a proper receipt/invoice.

Would definitely avoid this company in the future. Have no idea why my university is recommending them, and are sending complaints to them.
