I booked a tour through Flight Centre. While on tour our flights home were cancelled. Our travel agent did not even try to arrange return flights as part of the tour instead sending us flights for $7500 asking us to pay. Others on the tour were reassured return flights would be provided and they received them. We are out of pocket for our return flights additional accommodation and more. This was over 20 weeks ago and still waiting for our refund. The others that received return flights also have received a refund so not out of pocket to get home and got a refund. I’m actually speechless over the useless travel agent we booked with and will never use Flight Centre that he works for. Absolutely disgrace.

Hi Maxine, I'm sorry to see your booking affected by the recent events across the Middle East. Unfortunately your airline did cancel flights, and was not providing alternative options, though I can see that our team quoted the next best available option to get you home. Unfortunately as there were thousands of travellers affected, this lead to reduced availability on alternative airlines, and therefore increased pricing.
I can see your case lodged regarding your refund, and our team will follow this up for you. Unfortunately as there have been so many travellers affected, there have been delays in affected airlines processing these, as it's not a bulk release for refunds, and each booking needs to be processed.
Our team will revert back to you directly on your case as soon as we have an update.
