We have been faithful customers of Flight Center for decades. However our recent experience was devastating for us , due to a change of an insurance company used by Flight Center, from Cover More to Europ Assistance .
Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our holiday trip purchased through Flight Center which was insured by Europe Assistance, a company provided by Flight Center travel agent .
Our advice- don’t ever buy an insurance from Europ Assistance, stay away !
This insurance company had more than 80 % of horrible reviews on Trust Pilot and other platforms. Unfortunately, we found out about it too late.
We are unpleasantly surprised that Flight Center cooperates with Euro Assistance despite the fact that this thieving company has such bad reviews across the board.
The Europ Assistance occurred to be a scam like organisation, highly unprofessional, and insulting with the their policy that discriminates against Australians who’s family are not Australian residents.
We find it outrageous and in our option it reflects badly on Flight Center who is using Europ Assistance service.
Some additional informations.
We lost $6.500 because of the cancellation of our holiday trip purchased by Flight Center, and couldn’t get a refund from Europ Assistance recommended by them .
The reason for cancellation was to go to Europe and see my dying father , after receiving a massage about his conditions. We were insured for situations like that. Honestly, I can’t think of more justified reasons for the cancellation then illness followed by death of your closest relative. But our claim was declined twice .
Europ Assistance didn’t handle it properly from the very beginning . Looking at all the very bad reviews about this company , we now know why .

Zoe from the Rouse Hill store was very patient and gave me a few options as well as presenting me with options for accomodation and travel insurance.
My travel plans were complex but Zoe was able to make the process easy and stress free.

Dee-Jay at Flight Centre Rouse Hill was lovely, knowledgeable and really helpful. She was honest and gave us a fair price, even the hotel was cheaper through her than the hotel directly. If she couldn’t price match on any items she let us know. We will be back again.

Bianca Douglas Watt from Rouse Hill was ever so helpful from the moment I walked into the store. She was thorough, gave me options to consider and explained everything in detail and with clarity. This was important to me as this is the first trip I am taking solo. Flights, additional accommodation, Trafalgar tour, airport transfers, Insurance, all of it was booked and finalised with ease, thanks to Bianca. Thank you very much Bianca for your excellent Customer Service.

Well to start there should be an option to give no star rating that's how bad I'm feeling about our last experience with flight centre Rouse hill, extremely disappointed given the amount of business weve done with flight centre over the past 10 years or more I have filed a complaint with your complaints department and have been advised that it will take at least 3 weeks for any feedback or decision to be made re our claim of being over charge by $3000.00

Fortunately Bianca at the Rouse Hill branch was very patient and helped us retrieve the correct voucher numbers via our smartphone.She remained courteous and tolerant through the process and we'd like to send a big thank you to her-and we'll be on our way soon!
