Have used comparison websites before and although all are good, Flipper seemed to make it a faultless exchange from my previous comparable site and to my new energy provider. Honestly quite faultless and saved me quite a bit of money.

Communication difficult, my impression was that not enough staff were available at phones. Eventually a transfer was recommended and executed to make a saving

Double billing issue.
Having spent an anxious night after noting from my bank statement that several energy payments were being taken from my previous and current suppliers, a quick call to Flipper and their very courteous agent sorted all the issues out for me, such a relief! Thank you so much.

Poor customer service
We have had ongoing problems with Flipper and Green dating back to February of this year. It's all too easy to flip an account, but when something goes wrong it is virtually impossible to get it sorted. The problem began when our meter was changed. The supplier failed to alter their records and happily estimated the charges and continued taking our money, even though we supplied new meter readings. After endless e-mails we are still waiting for rectification of our account.

I can see from your account that we are actively contacting and chasing your supplier on a weekly basis to get this resolved as quickly as possible. This has also been raised with the supplier's senior team to look into swiftly.
I do completely appreciate it is not ideal when an issue isn't getting resolved swiftly and I am sorry this is still ongoing. I can see we have responded to you today with all the steps that are being taken.

Would give more if Flipper answered questions when asked rather than many days later (if at all) when actions have already been taken.
I am still waiting information on the credit I should have had from my previous supplier before being flipped!

We had been receiving higher contact levels and I am sorry that our response time was slightly longer than usual. Please be assured we will always get back to you but if your query is ever urgent, do call us on 0345 528 0000 where we can assist you immediately.
I can see that your electricity supply has gone live with your new supplier as of 9 July 2021.
It can take previous suppliers six weeks for final bills to be produced and once your final bill is produced, you will be notified via email. If you are in a credit, this will be refunded directly back to you.
Your final bill is due by 20 August 2021 and I have placed your account in our team diary to ensure that this is actioned

Awful, dishonest
Awful. Quoted me a saving of £30 a month if I signed up and paid a fee. Once I did they came back with a saving of £5 a month. Pretty dishonest really, just to get your money I guess.

When you look to sign up to Flipper we provide an estimate at the start and this is based on an estimated usage calculated from the current supplier and property size/monthly spend provided.
As this is just an estimate it is to give you an idea of what we might be able to save you. To provide you with a correct savings we would then need sign up to be completed so we can get more detailed information like your actual usage and tariff information.
Once we had the information we needed from you we were able to find you a tariff with a saving of £13.52 a month equating to £162.24 across the year which is a great saving.
I apologise that you feel the monthly savings quoted at the start was dishonest but they are an estimate to give you an idea of what might be available. We are a very honest company that is happy to discuss different tariffs and savings with our customers.
