I ran the Toronto Half Marathon on May 7th. I wore the Floky Run Up Long socks and my feet and legs never felt better. My foot was stabilized in my shoe, there was never any movement. The grip on the bottom of the sock kept my foot in place. The back of my calves were kept tight and comfortable the entire race. It was the first race I’ve done where I didn’t have any blistering, foot or toe cramping, and no black toe nails.
Post race, I wore the Recharge socks for three days. My legs and feet were comforted in the socks and I never had any cramping or sore lower leg muscles.
I ran a 5k Run for Women at the end of May and wore my Run Up Medium and I had the same experience. My foot was stabilized in my shoe and I never experienced any movement. Therefore, post race, no blisters, no cramping, and again no black toe nails.
Since the races, I have been training in the Run Up Long socks and the Run Up Medium socks. I also have the Activator Shorts and I wear them for my speed drills and interval training. I find they hold my muscles in place and keep every part of my leg “tight” which is exactly what I need for those types of runs.
From this point forward, Floky is my go to sock for race day!
